My passions in life are cooking. I'll cook anything any way and find new ways to make it healthier if possible. BBQ's and good ol sunday dinner are my best and the more people the merrier. I really enjoy road trips to almost anywhere and stop to see the attractions on the way. Don't need to make plans,just pick a road and go.The mountians are always awesome, how can they not be. Or sometimes a night in a hotel with a water slide and some city sites aren't always bad either. I have two kids who are my apprentice chefs and gardeners. They enjoy everything I do from car shows to hunting and fishing. I have one of each and they are 6 and 9. Very well mannered and bring alot of life to me. Quadding and nature walks are always fun and walks by the river.Sometimes just curling up on the couch and watching a movie [ John Wayne ] or a comedy can be just what is needed too on those rainy days.And to finish things up,for me nothing is finer then a girl who enjoys being a girl in my eyes but can get dirty camping or quadding.

I’m a pretty easygoing guy who is open-minded but I can be somewhat stubborn when I’ve made up my mind. I’ve worked hard to get where I am in life, I believe you have to go out and find the life you want and not expect life to come find you. Much like “if you want something done, you gotta do it yourself”. I take pride in my work and take my job serious and it shows, I do it well. I like to think I am an intelligent person with good common sense but I don’t pretend I have all the answers. I have a good sense of humor and surround myself with friends that do as well. Laughter is a great stress relief!
Growing up, racing was always a part of my life, weather it was someone in my family or myself, so I take a special interest in Nascar. I enjoy watching it on TV and going to some races as well. I like travelling to warm places where I enjoy sightseeing, relaxing and enjoy a good party too. I’m a social drinker but when I party, I party hard and would like to meet someone the same. However, a woman that can’t handle her alcohol is a huge turn off. I also enjoy hockey; watching and playing when I can. During the summer months I enjoy camping with friends and family. Sitting around a campfire with good friends and good music makes for good times.
I find independent; confident women attractive but know-it-all; arrogant women are annoying. There is a difference. I want to meet a lady that takes care of herself, for herself. Health is important to me because without it, you have nothing. I’m not a muscular fitness fiend but I do take care of myself with Yoga and exercise and I try to eat healthy. I think this needs to be of common interest in a relationship to make it work.
I enjoy spending time with my 3 sons and I’m proud of each one for different reasons and I look forward to watching them grow to be respectful and responsible young men. The things we enjoy together are Nascar, hockey and camping.

Like pages in a book to pedals on a flower, I am either full of action, adventure, romance and information to eventually be plucked in a game of “she loves me or loves me not”.. I look at the years past and chuckle at the happening in my life but honestly at the moment I am finding myself stagnant. I believe this static low is simply because of a certain longing to be in a relationship. I AM READY! I have been more or less single for the past six years as I have focused on the proper upbringing of my two wonderful bambinos. No regrets for actually consciously making the right choice for the family and truly considering the consequences of the selfish temptations of dating. This did indeed result in “acceptance” of many lonely nights being single. However, the success and smiles on my bambinos is the greatest reward a guy can receive.
So, what is it that I am longing for? Well, I think it is simple, I want to find that woman that accepts me for who I am and when I see her look at me, I can’t help but notice the sparkle in her eyes as I am the man for her. Now my thinking it’s simple has proven more challenging given the many years I have been single.. LOL Being a father first and having someone truly understand and accept that, has been disappointing. BUT, now that my bambinos are much older and understand the concept of dating and actually want me to do so, I feel that I can get out there and meet women with no guilt or negative consequence.
Admittedly, I have had different words on my profile before which really narrowed down one frustrated emotion I had one day in regards to some dishonesty I came across. It is what it is. I do in fact want to meet that woman. I am MOST attracted to integrity and personality when I meet women, which unfortunately on this on-line dating game gets complicated at times. The profiles are visually driven and I will admit that looks are hard to ignore, especially when there are so many beautiful women on this site. Sometimes I find myself just clicking and clicking away, kind of people watching, but in still photos (OK, borderline creepy, I GET IT!! LOL), all the while, bewildered that I am still single! LOL
