Here’s the other stuff. I’ve been living in Cape Breton for about a year and I really like it. Long term, I’d like to live in different small towns around Nova Scotia. I miss Halifax a bit. Whenever I’m in the city I think, “Oh, I really like it here.” But then the Harbour Hopper drives by and I think, “Nah.... maybe not.” That vehicle drives me CRAZY. No, really.
I’ve lived in Ottawa, Quebec City, and Winnipeg, but I think Halifax is the best. I’ve also spent a small bit of time in Europe, particularly in Scotland and France. I might go to Scotland again in a few years. But I’m not what you’d call a huge traveler. I haven’t finished exploring the Maritimes yet! I never, ever go South in the winter. The whole “let’s go to a poor country and get drunk” kind of turns me off. Besides, I love Cape Breton in the winter. It has its own kind of beauty. What I would like would be to rent a cottage, throw some logs in the fireplace, and crack open a bottle of Grand Pre wine.
I like going to the beach a lot, and I swim all summer long, into the fall. I donРІР‚в„ўt mind the cold water, generally. I also like to hike a bit but IРІР‚в„ўm not what youРІР‚в„ўd call a good hiker. I have a brand new little tent, so this summer is all about the camping. I like my own company, I donРІР‚в„ўt mind silence, and I even went on a week-long silent retreat once! So, secretly, IРІР‚в„ўm an introvert. However, IРІР‚в„ўm also a good conversationalist when I have to be. IРІР‚в„ўm great at small talk!

I'm currently studying to be a Registered Massage Therapist....I chose this career because it allows me to help people who are injured or need rehabilitation, or relaxation. I consider myself a compassionate and giving person and this helps me to live those things through my work.
I love the outdoors in the summer, fishing is my favorite summer activity...Yup I can even bait my own hook ;).... lol.... I also enjoy tenting, swimming, wrestling. My favorite sports are basketball and softball but I'd try anything sports related or active I'm up for a challenge. I can be a bit competitive, but that can be fun :) I also love the carnival, anything spontaneous and exciting is for me:)
