Meet someone special from Canada. What can I say except it wonРІР‚в„ўt ever be a dull moment with me! Nothing happens that you need to be afraid of, itРІР‚в„ўs just probably fair to warn you to expect the unexpected because I sometimes just do the weirdest things and it's usually by accident. For instance, I left my muffler in Gravenhurst after overpacking my car with friends, camping equipment and a dog (this was just recently so obviously age doesnРІР‚в„ўt always bring about wisdom or an abundance of general automotive knowledge). Truth be told the grinding noice and loud bang that was heard over every bump in the road should have been my first clue but .... I suppose I just love to live dangerously.
I love my family. They are my anchor. I'm fortunate to have them in my life, not to mention a legion of close friends from childhood, highschool and work. I'm pragmatic but spontaneous. Affectionate but competitive. Peaceful but energetic. I love staying up late – whether it's a night out, to make love or just read a good book or cuddle and watch a movie -- but I almost always sleep in on weekends (unless I am spending time with my nieces and nephews). Coffee is essential every morning if you ever expect me to hear what you are saying when I first wake up (and this is only for reference if you ever have plans to call me first thing in the morning! Be prepared to repeat what you said). I value honesty and respect above all else. If you play games or can't be honest then please move on. Life is too short to say what you don't mean. And if you can say it ... be prepared to back it up.

I'd rather be with a guy who has big dreams and no money than a guy with no dreams and big money. I must admit, I like a bit of a bad boy -- not an awful, I'm-going-to-treat-you-like-crap kind of guy, but someone who's going to push me to my limits and then pull back with a warm hug at the last minute. A guy who is willing to bend the rules for something he believes in, or for someone he loves and is prepared to fight for. Truth is, I'm just a nice, funny, passionate girl who's looking for some fun and companionship and perhaps more.

Date a soulmate from Canada. So really...this is what it has come down to? Oh what the heck. What do I have to lose? I have been told I am picky and thats why I have not found anyone. I totally disagree with these accusations about myself. I feel with all my past experiences, some being positive and some negative, they have made me who I am today. Being said, I know what I want in life and I will not settle for anything less. Too bad I didn't know this in my 20's lol. I am an honest, generous, and a caring girl that will do anything for anybody. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I have very strong and old fashioned traditional values in life. I believe in marriage. My parents have been together for 38 yrs. Family is very important to me. My friends also are high up on that scale and are treated as such. I have a great career in nursing. I have worked very hard to get where I am today. I am not looking for the perfect guy. That doesn't exist. I am far from perfect. I am looking for an equal. Someone who will share the same outlook on life. I am very laid back. I do not stress the small stuff. I tend to be very shy. I most likely will not make the first move. Meet a woman from Canada. I have been (purposefully and intentionally) single for a while (the exact time frame is something to be saved for a face to face conversation...) Work occupies much of my time, and until now I haven't made dating a priority in my life. However, it seems increasingly difficult to meet people in conventional ways, so I am attempting to give this a (fair) chance!
I have spent most of my time/schooling in social and community work. I have worked and travelled in the field, and I am passionate about the issues of human trafficking, refugee rights and animal welfare, among others.

. I am a fun loving, if sometime serious person who cares deeply for friends and family. I love to travel and see the world. I try to be open minded and kind, though I am far from perfect. I would like my partner to share similar interests, especially the family and friends, my parents were together for 42 years, and enjoyed each others company as well as their families,they went to each others wedding dances and family picnics as partners. I think that is important. My dad was in the trades and my parents worked together on projects around the house as partners. They were friends and that is something I would like. I love a good joke, so a sense of humor is key. I work full time, I try to get out with my friends even just for coffee at least once a week. As we get older this is obviously more difficult but worth the effort. I love my family and I am the youngest of 4, and the only girl.
. I'm the type of girl who still writes handwritten thank you notes and actually mails Christmas cards :) I love wearing heels but I am equally as comfortable in flip flops. I do something active everyday. Running is my passion, bit I'm also into spinning, tennis, yoga and skiing. I value family and good friendships. I try to find pleasure in the simple things and spend a lot of time at the cottage. I have been fortunate to travel quite a bit but there are still so many places I would like to explore. I spend my days teaching and coaching teenagers, and I feel very fortunate to have such a rewarding career.

. I tried to finish building my fence this summer, holding up the 6' 4x4 while ratcheting the screws in place. I thought to myself, this would be a whole lot easier if someone could hold the post.... I guess building a fence is like a lot of other things in life, probably more enjoyable with a partner- and less risk of getting hit in the head with a 4x4 post. I am an independent lady -I love my job, my amazing friends and family and my incredibly adorable new puppy, Biggie Smalls. I am social and outgoing and would never say no to a camping trip, I'll even stern.
I'm a hopeless downtowner, a cookbook follower, and an optimistic traveller. I also love coffee. a lot.
