I enjoy working out, it’s become a big part of my life since I was divorced. But, it's not something I expect in a companion, although she should take care of herself. Smoking, however, is a definite deal-breaker for me. Physically, I’m probably larger than most men, although I’m not overweight. I`m neither short or overly tall - I`m 5`11`. If you prefer men who are thin and slender, then I’m probably not the man for you. I'm also bald, which I think suits me very well.
I consider myself to be very intelligent, kind, thoughtful, reasonable, level-headed, down-to-earth, funny, sincere, good-natured, and passionate. For the most part, I prefer to enjoy quiet nights at home but I do like to be active, play tennis, bicycle, go to the movies, occasionally go out for dinner, take day trips, overnight trips, and see special events (all kinds). I have what I consider to be a normal, average lifestyle that centers around my work and raising my son. But, there is a void in my personal life (and probably yours as well) - that's where we come in to help each other! Although my career requires me to be outgoing, I actually have a slightly introverted personality. I don't need to be the center of attention or life of the party, and I prefer an equal give-and-take with my partner.
It would be nice to have someone to share dinner and a bottle of wine with, then spend the evening enjoying each other’s company. What we do wouldn`t matter as much as the fact that we do it together - we would find enjoyment just being with each other. Our conversations with each other would be easy and and stimulating, and we wouldn't be afraid to express our feelings to each other.
Of course, my teenage son is the most important person in my life, and if you have children who are still living at home, I would expect and respect that they would be your number one priority (and not me). However, we would both understand the importance of making time for each other, no matter how busy our lives were.
We may each have our own interests and personality traits, but in matters of the heart we would be the same and we would be each other's biggest fan and best friend.
