Something that isn't always changing or does not have many levels of complexity or intrigue can sometimes become stale. I prefer a little variety. I'm Spontaneous, adventurous, and ready to try almost anything once.
I am an avid fan of music. I'm always looking for new styles, genres and artists to expand my library. I don't really shun any style as long as they have talent. There are so many famous artists with no talent, and so many with it that are ignored. I am also always looking for new techniques and tunings to play on guitar. I play both electric and Acoustic. It's sometimes just therapeutic to create my own music and write songs. Some of the bands I am listening to right now are: Machine Head, Lamb of God, Motley Crue, Flogging Molly, John Butler, Hank Williams III, Deadmau5 and Frank Sinatra. Told you I listened to everything.
I think I have one of the coolest Jobs. I get to design million dollar pieces of equipment that started out as ideas in my head. It is sometimes frustrating having to problem solve a problem or find an alternative design which can accomplish the same thing. You really have to be open minded to criticism and suggestions in my job so I have a lot of patience and ability to adapt to difficult situations. But when you finally see the thing you designed put to work, it is so rewarding.
I also love playing and watching NHL, MLB, CFL, NFL, all the Major sports. I grew up in Ontario in the GTA so I am a long suffering Toronto Sports fan. But I will never leave my teams, even if I live in Alberta. I would like to find some teams to join but have not had too much luck.
I work five days a week so I like to get out on the weekend as much as I can. I hate staying in on weekends, I like to go out and do something. Whether it is a day trip, a whole weekend getaway or getting together with some friends for drinks or a BBQ. Staying in the house is not my perfect weekend. However, when I am at home, I like to spend my time Cooking, Reading War and Graphic Novels, and playing some games on-line with my friends from back home.
I'd really like to meet someone who likes to have educated discussions about the world as well. Due to my sometimes sarcastic and laid back care-free attitude, people don't realize that I enjoy discussions about politics and social issues that are occurring around the world.
