I came to Canada from Slovakia in 1970 and have never looked back; Canada has been god to me. Beginnings were hard, I had to overcome a language barrier, I had to learn English, but at the end it worked out. I met a lady and married her, we have one daughter who is married and just had a baby boy in August. After 34 years of a good marriage the wife passed away of cancer in 2008..
I am self-employed and I work as consultant and do electrical/electronic design. I work mostly for large companies, oilfield, power plants, and hospitals. I really enjoy my work so it became my hobby. I am still working and my work is what drives me and gives me a pleasure of usefulness and it chases away the loneliness.
I like all kinds of music especially the music of the sixties (but no rap or heavy metal), light classical music. I like live theatre, comedy.
I am very considerate of another human being especially women who earned my great respect in that they can do tasks better than men and they do it with more perfection.
I also have a special consideration for animals, nature and environment.
I lead a fairly healthy lifestyle and exercise on a regular basis but still love to indulge in good food on special occasions.
I prefer organic foods. I do not smoke nor drink alcohol (except a glass of wine with a romantic supper).
I like to travel and explore the beauty of other countries, cultures and beauty of the nature. We as family had travelled often to Europe, California, Florida, Western US states, Caribbean, Hawaii and also Canadian destination.
My hobby is photography mainly landscapes and flowers.
I like to do active sports mainly skiing, swimming, and bicycling instead watching them on the couch.

Date a man from Sherwood Park, Canada. I was born on the mix farm approx 40mi east of Edmonton town of Chipman. On the farm we had running water that is get pail and run to thr pump house get the water and run back. All so we had horses, we road bare back I fall off them many times ate alot dirt or snow. How I only have saw horse. When I was 15 years old my Dad pass on than we move to the Edmonton finish high school went NAIT got a trade and my CET engineer. I am windower I have 3 grown kids all away from home I live on a acreage 6mi east of Sherwood Park. I think I can cook "will I can boil water" I like to cook for my friends and family.I love to golf but I need 3 fairway to golf that where the ball goes. Last 10 years I put a garden in, but last 2 year Save on Food and I make aggrement I give money and they give groceries. I do enjoy camping and my boat 18" 200HP I go out approx 3 time a year to a lake.In the back in yard there a fire pit like to burn hotdogs, hamburger and any thing can go over the fire. We like to have fire pit sing song with the "coyote" and 2,3 glass of wine we become much better singer. I do go to the gem in Sherwood Park two times a week to stay in shape, I still have my baby fat around my weast.
