I moved to the Calgary area to be closer to family and better job opportunities. So far my move has worked out for me. I even found my dream job working with my favorite animal dogs.
I come from a small town in Saskatchewan of about 1,500 people and I lived in Saskatoon for about 5 years. But I've also explored world by traveling New Zealand for a year when I was 19. I had a blast doing many adrenaline activities ( just ask ,and I bet I will surprise you....okay I'll give you a hint..maybe skydiving and bungee jumping once or twice ) and lots of odd jobs from picking apples to being a bar promoter. I also love to swap traveling stories and experiences. If I could pick two places to travel tomorrow, it would be Scotland and Japan.
I know this maybe old fashioned but I like to decorate envelopes for special people in my life for their birthdays and Valentines Day. I do this to be keep my creative side of myself satisfied. There are times people have paid me to decorate envelopes for them. Also at this moment I taking the time to learn how to make home made buns and bread from scratch. I also don't mind watching sports as long we get to do something fun during half time.
In my spare time I like volunteering for many different causes that are important to me. I will be attending the Purina Walk for Guide Dogs in Calgary as well as Relay for Life.
So far this year my biggest accomplishment is running 10kms under 1hr. In the future I want to participate in marathons and try yoga. I also learned this year how to change my own electrical work, like plugs ins and light switches. (I only shocked myself once. lol)
What I'm looking for is someone who knows how to treat and respect others. Simply someone who knows how to follow the golden rule aswell to appreciate the small moments in life has to offer us each and every day!
