Any specific jobs you can’t complete you can call in a service man from the list on my wall behind my printer. Plumber, electricians and natural gas workers to name a few.
• Check with the nurse on duty and the activity person about any possible bus trip or appointments for the residents, or lab sample to be delivered.
• Check at the beginning of the shift and at the end of the shift that the Assisted Living doors are all locked and functioning properly. Unlock the storage door and staff entrance door at the beginning of your shift, then lock them up again at the end of your shift.
• Use the leaf blower to keep the sidewalks and parking lots clear of leafs.
• If it snows more than 3 inches during your shift you can clear it with the riding mower with the snow blade on it and the hand shovel for the steps. After your shift you are required to come back in and salt the main walk ways if there is ice present, or use the snow plow if there is more than 3 inches of snow. Extra ice melt is in the main storage area, if you need more you can call Planet Clean (Formally called Janitor’s Warehouse).
