Date someone special from Port Moody, Canada. Hmm...I have been on my own for a few years now and although it's been fun and a learning experience for sure, I am now ready willing and able to have new adventures with an interesting man.
I am pretty lively, enjoy my friends and family, love to cook and miss entertaining as a "couple"....also it's so much nicer to go to a function with someone you're excited to be with. Think I'd almost forgot what that might feel like! I work in Real Estate and thoroughly enjoy that but I have a great amount of free time as well. Travel is very important to me and I seem to be making travel plans quite often. Recently I have been thinking more about "adventure travel", just not sure what form that may take. I love animals but currently do not have any and have no immediate plans to change that, lost my companion dog of 13 years last summer. As much as I miss him and the rainy walks he forced me to go on, I am enjoying the freedom.
I think I have a lot to offer the right man. I'm funny, sociable, read the newspaper daily and try to stay current , I am gracious and grateful, intelligent, keep myself well and I care about how I look but am a low maintenance woman.
My favorite channel on the television has to be Oasis.

LOL I am not looking for a mirror image of myself, quite the opposite....I enjoy good conversation about topical things and really love to get into a good discussion with an ear to learn another's point of view. So I am hoping for a man that stays in reasonable shape physically, emotionally, and intellecutally. Someone who loves travel and not just to pass out on a beach (although that's fun too, just not all the time). My bucket list contains several destinations in Europe, Africa, Thailand ....but I'm open to most anywhere. Love going to Hawaii, particularly Maui, enjoy discovering nature.
I will add that I am not at all photogenic and have been told by many people that I look far better in person than in my photos. So there you have it...photos ...not so great....

Meet someone special from British Columbia, Canada. I find it very difficult talking about myself but here goes! I have been teaching for thirty years and have lived in Vancouver for most of my life. I have mostly taught Grade One so I have had to learn to be very patient! I appreciate someone with a good sense of humour and try to have one myself.
