I enjoy life, and I'm fun-loving and often on-the-go: working, travelling - like Christmas 2009 in New Zealand - it was magical! I made a spontaneous decision to go, and my enthusiasm paid off with a terrific trip. I did not see any hobbits or elves, but there was evidence of a Shire in the countryside...
I love my job, which keeps me busy, and I enjoy weekends, when I can get into doing new, fun, and interesting things in life. I welcome challenge; I'll try anything once, from new food, to new sports, to...? I enjoy traveling and meeting new cultures - my goal is to be a "traveller" who lives locally, not simply a tourist. I have been to Europe a number of times while learning to speak other languages (French, German, Italian). My next trip will be to volunteer in a developing country where I can take action and help a cause like building a school, or digging a well for a village - whatever is needed. I'm a "sophisticated granola girl"; vivacious, charismatic and somewhat artistic. I enjoy moments of calm and taking care of other people - like nurturing my nephews, who are growing up so fast.
