If you still live with your wife or partner, I'm not for you either, If she doesn't understand you, I probably wouldn't either. I don't care if you are separated but not divorced as am I (8 years now) but I have my baggage packed and put away. Life lesson: You know, it amazes me when I look at the world through a child's eyes. I was playing Candy Land with my granddaughter and my little sweetie was just excited to play - with no agenda. (Her brothers, on the other hand, were ruthless when we let them join in - love their spirit though :). She doesn't seem to have inherited our family's competitive gene - it's a curse! She simply loved the thrill of drawing special cards like the lollipops, candy cane, gum drops - even if it set her back. It made me realize, once again, that finding joy in the experience is what it is about.
. I asked some friends what adjectives they would use to describe me. They used words such as intelligent,generous,confident,and genuine. Kind,caring,funny and loving were also words that they shared with me.Enjoys life and does not take life too seriously but is certainly aware when there is not a numerous side to certain situations.
I have been blessed with great friends so my social life is busy.All my friends are married but I am included and never made to feel the fifth wheel. My friends vary in age, although I do not have children, I feel that my young friends keep me in the loop, as do my young staff.
I enjoy travel and usually take winter vacations. Most of my winter vacations have been in Mexico and the Caribbean. BC has become a fairly familiar place,as I usually take at least two visits a year to see family.
I am grateful for health, financial security,friends, and family. I am also for grateful for a fulfilling career in nursing. I enjoy nursing as much as I did when I entered Nursing School thirty-nine years ago. The opportunity to provide care to individuals who are in need is a privilege.
