I have friends all over North America as I have travelled and lived all over Canada and the US. Keeping up with politics and current affairs are a must as I like to keep my mind active and my views current. Now that summer is here I swim every day. Yesterday Day # 2 I managed 53 laps. Working up to 100 laps per day about 1.3 miles. Great exercise. Weight lifting is my way of toning and getting ready for the swimming season.
I am a certified open water NASDS scuba diver (20 years) and really prefer under water to above.
When you come across a sea turtle as big as you hiding in a school of fish it is fantastic and makes life extra special. I like to be challenged in life and will usually accept when one is extended.

Usually I am the one that wants to go fishing not care for fish. A fond memory of going sail fishing in Mexico a few years ago. Four of us on the boat, the 3 guys all caught 100 lb sail fish, I caught the most beautiful Walt Disney fish you have ever seen. Sorry Walt we ate it at the dinner party.

My 30 year career in Marketing /Advertising Agency /Newspaper business was fantastic but now it is all about reading and playing as much as possible. I love travelling and seeing the world. So much to discover & not nearly enough time. I'm fortunate to have the opportunity to travel with my work. Most of it within Canada and the States. I love the work I do and I have a pretty good work-life balance.....most of the time.
I live a pretty independant life. Both my children (2 boys) live on thier own and are for the most part no longer on my payroll, lol. We do have a close relationship so I try to spend as much time with them as possible...I bit tougher for the one who lives in Toronto, but we manage. I'm really proud of who they have become as young men and I truly enjoy their company and also their friends.
I'm a big believer in the quote "We don't stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing" So, I'm looking to meet a playmate in the sandbox of life.
