So here it goes...I'm 44 years old but have been told that I look like 43 and a half. Haha...just kidding, of course I look like 32, and I do feel like I'm in my prime. Which means that on the inside I feel like I'm 25 years old and life is just beginning to unfold...I feel very young and am full of energy and curiosity about life. At the same time I'm old enough to know that life can bring ups and downs and sometimes unexpected events. Life is also exciting because there is new opportunities that want to be lived, waiting just around the corner all the time. I understand that I still have lots to learn about life and myself, and I'm eager to do so.

I'm an artist-I paint landscapes-a published childrensbook's illustrator and author and I own a retail store downtown, next to the market. I'm also the creator of a very popular Canadiana t-shirt and gift line that is being sold all over Canada. I enjoy my work and feel blessed and thankful that I have this artistic talent. I suck at music though and when I attempt to sing, my children tell me to please shut up.
I love nature, camping, hiking, canoeing, sitting at a campfire or looking at the sunset. I like to just crab my sleeping bag and go paddling...and find myself a little island where I can stay over night, after I have built a little shelter. I like to think outside the box and am a bit unconventional. To ad to this, I'm from Germany, Freiburg, from the Blackforest, and i have a German accent. I also have a funny swedish name, you might need some help saying it. But once you know how to say it, it's very catchy..
Besides canoeing I also love skiing, soccer-sorry, no ice hockey, never tried it, I suck on skates-going out for a drink or dinner, painting, cooking, dancing, gardening, playing mini golf and bungee jumping. I have never bungee jumped, so it's jut a metaphor for my quest for adventure. Oh ya, and I looove doing the dishes, vacuming and mopping, dusting and doing the groceries and reading all all your wishes from your lips... ;-)
Well, I do like to cook, that's actualy true, but it comes in phases. I feel inspired by Tv shows like "Chopped!" and believe I could out cook them all...so now you know I can be delusional too...but at least also very self confident.
And...I have two very sweet children-girl and boy-10 and 7 years old. I see them part time, but the more often the better...
I'm not interested in a serious long term relationship right now, but over time that can change...
So enough about me...how fabulous are YOU? I might have to meet you in person, then I can figure it out for myself and tell you in person how great you are.
