I am originally from Eastern Europe but was raised in N. America. I am very easy to get along with as I have a friendly nature and treat everyone with respect, I'm very down to earch and trustworthy. In some ways I have held on to some of the traditions tied to my european background and I am proud of that. Although I am now in my 50's, I am told I look younger as well as having a personality that can relate to the younger generations with ease. I don't dwell on age but try to enjoy each day as it comes. I enjoy being with family and friends and this basically is my social life. Not into bars, drinking or that type of lifestyle. Social drink or two is ok. I enjoy making a nice meal and making people feel welcome to my place. I love music from Rock, pop, classical to old fashioned european bands. Hobbies include (when I have time) crafts, decorating, gardening and working on graphics on the computer. Although I don't have children of my own, I have been honoured in being asked to be a Godmother on four occasions. I would be more than happy to meet someone who had children of their own, and grandchildren as I love the concept of a family unit.
I am not much into sports as a participant, but enjoy watching when it's on and I am determined to learn golf one day. I have a dad who watches golf and sports all the time! He holds the remote in his hand at the same time, it's funny to see but ofcourse we all love him to bits, accent and all. I would like to find someone who is not shallow, ishonest and trustworthy. Appearance is not everything, the main thing that counts is a good heart but I do feel that it is important for someone to look after oneself hygienically, and dress appropriately if the occasion warrants it. Being casual is the most comfortable and that's how I am most times. I am definitely not a high maintenance person. Additionally, a non-smoker or a heavy drinker. A social drink here and there is fine. Someone who is intelligent, emotionally and financially stable and enjoys discussing all types of topics. Likes going out for dinners or a movie, and enjoys some of the things I listed above. It would be great if you were from a european background as well and can speak another language which I find attractive but not mandatory. And lastly, that he is a respectful person/gentleman.
