I am widowed and have been for awhile. For many years I was busy with a career and bringing up two kids - who I adore. They are now 25 and 28 and are out on their own. I retired in 2005 from a career in sales and for the past six years I have been working with Special Needs kids. I have just taken a years leave from this and will most likely retire. I want more time for my friends and I have a couple trips planned - one to Kelowna BC the other to South America.
I am financially independent and comfortable on my own or with a group. I want to meet a great guy to spend time with, travel with and have fun with. I would like to fall in love again! I like to laugh and have a healthy and active life style. I am looking for a guy who is not afraid to hold my hand in public and who is sincere about a relationship, someone who is loving, energetic and just fun to be around. I love the sun and warm weather and spending time at a cottage in the summer and In the winter I like to escape to the south but I also like to ski right here in Canada - not at minus 15 though!
I am a very young and energetic woman and hope to find a partner with like interests. I like to work out two to three times a week but if I don't get there it's not a big deal. I also like to play some golf ( I'm not great but I enjoy the game) I've only been at it for four years now. I read and have some guilty pleasure TV shows that some of my friends just don't get! But they are fun for me. I also like good food at home or out and I don't mind being the cooking.
