I enjoy a glass of good red wine now and again. I am a hockey fan (Go Flyers!), as well as soccer (I'm European, it's genetic). I like to think I'm comfortable in any situation, from sitting in a pub chatting, to discussing world issues at a dinner party, to just talking about life's mysteries over a candlit dinner.
I am an avid reader, mostly non-fiction (I'm a huge history buff), and anything from Shakespeare to Bronte to Poe to Stephen King. I have a wide range of movies that I enjoy, from A Streetcar Named Desire and the Seventh Seal to Aliens and anything with Arnie. I enjoy all types of music, especially from the homeland. I am an avid video gamer and board game player, everything from Monopoly to historical games.

1. The Man: World traveler, accomplished entrepreneur, healthy, wise, still make foolish mistakes because I consider the big ones before I make them. Well spoken, well read, well dressed (depends on situation), well mannered, well healed and wellness!
2. The Myth: I'm not the person people see. People underestimate me and it has been my greatest single advantage. Once people get to know me they over estimate me, which causes me some concern because people then become intimidated.
3. The Legend: Legend tells of my trials and tribulations, my David and Goliath stories and my accomplishments. Most are true, but to me, it's all part of life.
Online dating has never worked for me. I'm not a two dimensional picture or a set of words meant to create intrigue and interest. Get to know me. Ask "what if?" and take a chance. What's the worse thing that can happen?
. I am a single Dad, and love to laugh and have fun. When my son is with me we are always on the go. I am open to meeting new and different people for fun, friendship, coffee or just conversation. I live in small-town Eastern Ontario, but that is a great place to raise a young child.

Traveling is a big part of my life/job. I enjoy going to new places and seeing things. I love the sun of Florida and the Islands of the Caribbean or Hawaii. Columbia is one of my favourite destinations. I've done multiple cruises and am not worried about the plane crashing on the way there or the ship sinking. In fact, I believe that if you avoided all the things in life that carried with it risk, you would stay at home in your bubble.
My hobbies include, flying airplanes, motorcycles, sportscars,golf, watching almost all sports, and exercising myself. Running, cycling, and wieght training are my preferred activities. I am planning my first triathlon this year. I also like simply sitting at the bar having wings and a beer. I believe in balance in everthing.
I've been an "all sports" dad as well. Hockey, Baseball, Karate, Bowling, Soccer, Guitar, Piano etc.etc. (you get the idea). The Kids (2) are off to school now so not too much of that left. I find myself now more of a "Bank Dad!" Kids are great though. I wouldn't trade them for anything.

. Trying this out so here goes. I am a pretty cool guy lol...so I have been told. I like many things in life but enjoy the simple things the most. Love getting outside, or long drives with no particular destination. I am self employed and have been for many years, but relax I do alright :) Single father of 2 fabulous girls.
