I am now 61, divorced for a long time, with two lovely kids, now both at university. I am well established with a successful career in Engineering. I am considered athletic and very young looking for my age, with a slim muscular body, and a high energy level. I don't drink (I have a food allergy) but expect a partner would drink socially. I like the outdoors. I work out, though probably not enough, but fortunately my body doesn't put on any weight except muscle. I know, lucky lucky!
I have a strong curiosity about science and the natural world, love to travel and have had many adventures as a result. I read mostly non fiction and humor. I do read some poetry, occasionally, or anything else that draws me in.
I have a sly dry and rather off beat sense of humor, love to laugh, and would love my partner to have a similar wit. A sense of wonder and a strong sense of the ridiculous goes a long way as well.
I love classical music, jazz, some rock, some electronica and much in between, my musical taste is very eclectic. If I overhear music that interests me, I will track it down. Music and scientific articles about new discoveries fascinate me.
