I think one of the best things about falling in love is that butterflies in the tummy feeling every time the other person calls. I love every minute of it! I enjoy reading (good books or trash, information on the web etc...theres a time and place for everything), watching tv, surfing the net or going to the movies just as much as I enjoy working out or partying it up with my friends. I like being active and going for walks, hikes, and sometimes even yard work. I am an active basketball player and love not only playing sports but also coaching. I appreciate the arts but that doesn't mean I am artistically skilled. Also, I will admit that Dancing and Karaoke can be great times but my skills are more suited to anything but break dancing, and to singing in the shower. That said I have been known to spontaneously start humming/singing a ballad (from the 70s and 80s).
Music and Media: I honestly listen to anything and everything. That said, I have found that you can't really workout or run while listening to country or classical (of course there are always exceptions). In regards to movies and tv shows, if it puts a smile on my face and makes me laugh or at least exclaim 'that was awesome' then I will watch it. Sometimes a good documentary can't be beat (always a fan of Discovery channel's Shark week).
Travel: I want to see the world, and would like to do that with someone special. I have been a to a few places with my family when I was younger and when I could afford to take 1 - 2 month vacations but now even getting away for a couple weeks of sight seeing would be great. I do want to tour around Europe and South America sometime. If you feel like being my tour guide then all the better.
My goals checklist:
1. To be a great uncle....will have to ask my nephew when he is old enough to talk
2. To be an actor/model and be ogled....check
3. To dunk a basketball...partial check (did it a decade ago, now want to do it again)
4. To go to either: a Grey Cup/Super Bowl game or NBA Championship/Stanley Cup/World Series game 7.
5. To coach a team and win a championship... (I've lost in the finals...the kids were heartbroken and so was I. I plan to restart coaching again.)
6. To fly a plane solo....check
7. To visit every continent....partial check (a lot of travelling left do)
8. To start my own business....possibly in the works (so many ideas in my head)
9. To fall in love and lust at the same time...(waiting for the one)
8. To start a family and retire by the age of 40....working towards that goal, but I would love to retire young spending time with my family and travelling the world.
