Meet a woman from Alberta, Canada. Life is an adventure, and one that is best enjoyed by seeking out experiences not just places. This can lead to travel, but sometimes its just as fun checking out places within the city that I've never been. New restaurants, new activities, new attractions all hold an allure for me. I'm looking to find someone who is intrigued at the idea of going to Churchill to see the polar bears, or Tofino to see the whales, or even taking a segway tour through the river valley (Segways? In Edmonton? Outside? Really?) This isn't to say that a romantic trip to an all inclusive isn't in order, but if its near Mayan ruins or a coral reef even better.
I love my career and am pretty happy with where I am in life, and I'm hoping to find someone who is also in the same place. I believe that the best way to branch out is to start with strong roots.
When I'm not working, or seeking random adventures, I do like to check out the latest movies, or catch up on various TV shows I've been meaning to watch. I love my PVR and Netflix because I can sit down and watch back to back episodes of something which is my favorite way to do it.
Now for a bit of a confession, I do have a bit of an inner geek, so I probably enjoy my iPhone a little too much, I have an Xbox and a Wii, and while I don't play anymore, I do understand what a dungeon raid entails.

I could be found hanging out in the backyard kicking a soccer ball with my 6 year old, loading up the trunk for a weekend tenting trip; floating down a river on a tube or cruising down the hills in the Rockies. I like the balance of being active and on the go but then there's the days when it's better to do.... a b s o l u t e l y nothing. Somedays are meant for PJ's, t-shirts and a large pizza with the curtains drawn.
I'm surrounded by some pretty amazing people and we keep each other in check and entertained. Might be ping-pong tournament; might be a hike; might be a hot wing cooking competition....might be an impromptu game of "don't drop the ball" where a window may / or may not have gotten broken. Jury is still out on that one...
