I'm usually home every 3 weeks. I guess you could call me a "rig pig" but I'm not. Most of the time I'm down to earth except when on days off I do enjoy a toke now and then. When i do take a holiday i enjoy camping and getting back to nature (makes me feel better for contributing to the pollution of our earth.)

Meet people from Alberta, Canada. I always hated writing projects when I was in school, and having to write about myself takes me back to those days! Well, I guess I'm here for the same reasons that everyone else is here for... Because it's like window shopping, you get that sneak peek at the object of your desire, then you learn about some of its features and flaws before you go in to drop the cash on it. Well I guess I'm also here to see who's out there and maybe find that special someone to share some fun (and by that I mean entertaining) times with. If I were to describe my personality, I would say that I'm best described as an ambivert. I'm not usually one to go and introduce myself to someone, but once introductions are out of the way I'm usually pretty comfortable being myself. Now, get a couple of drinks in me and I can inject some life into a party! ;-) In my youth I was known to have some pretty wild times, but I've gotten most of that out of my system now. At least for the moment anyway! As far as friendships go, I'm a sincere, honest and loyal person, thus I'm very selective about who I call my friends. There has to be a bond for me to call a person a friend; someone that I know I will be able to rely on and trust. Many of my male friends are more like brothers to me than my own actual brother is. My friendships have endured for years and through some tough times and are among the most valuable things to me. I like to socialize with my friends be it going for dinner/coffee, hitting a movie, playing pool, watching hockey over a pan of nachos washed down with a beer, etc, etc, etc. And am looking forward to some vacations abroad with them soon! The one exception to the activities with my friends would be dancing (unless I'm really, REALLY drunk!). Actually, there may be more, but I think only that one need be mentioned!!! I'm looking for a woman that can both appreciate my friendships and want to be a part of them. If I were to draw an analogy to the type of woman that I'm looking for, I would have to say that she would have to be kind of like "Betty" from the Archie comics. I see her as being compassionate, sincere, capable, fun and a little bit on the sexy side. Love the summers for riding, golfing, chillin on a patio and just plain enjoying the nice warm weather. In the winter the mountains are a great get away for skiing or just going for the weekend and sitting by a cozy fireplace with someone special. I enjoy getting away to an exotic destination at least once a winter. I love Florida. Mexico is great as well for just relaxing and enjoying the food and drink. I look forward to the future for learning new things, meeting new people and always for growth. I am looking for that special someone to share this with and to grow together in a genuine relationship. I am an honest and caring person. I think there are some very important aspects to a healthy relationship. Communication, understanding, compassion, honesty, compromise and of course genuine love. I have these qualities and really try to put them in place when something is special or even just everyday life. Being involved in something from start to finish enjoying the fruits of my labor is always satisfying but so is a banana split sundae, lol. I have been lucky in life and now I am looking to be lucky in love. I am a fun loving man who loves to have a good time, and fully believe that laughter truly is the best medicine.
However, that said, I do know when and where to be serious and respect that trait in others as well.
I enjoy a wide range of activities from your stereotypical walk on the beach to something more offbeat like hiking in the mountains. Generally I consider myself to be very open to new experiences and will try almost anything once.
Really though, I think fun comes from who you are with rather than what you are doing. Good company can make what would have been a mundane experience a great time.
