I love music, travel, film, theatre, and our beautiful part of the world! Spending the afternoon at Stanley Park, followed by the Ballet/Symphony/Bard on the Beach, or simply a late night crack-up over a stupid Will Ferrell movie sounds just fabulous to me. As does a nice quiet coffee overlooking the lake without having to say a word.

A little more about me...well professionally, I became a nurse a few years ago and know without a doubt it was a great decision for me. I truly love the caregiving aspect of nursing...particularly helping those who are unable to help themselves. I definitely see taking my education to the next level in my future! A little more personally.....I have the best kids everrrr, and my ex-husband and I thankfully have a great relationship. We share the kids almost 50-50, which allows for lots of leisurely time to myself, but I am good at sharing...my time that is...maybe with you? (smile!)
Alright...one more thing I thought I would add...well actually 25 (silly smirk)....I apologize for this being so long...but here it is....
25 RANDOM THINGS ABOUT ME
1. I am deathly afraid of spiders and kill them with Windex...a slow death, but I don't have to get too close - something about the ammonia? (smirk*wink)
2. Tulips are my absolute favourite flower.
3. I hate, and I mean hate, tangled Christmas lights.
4. I love stormy weather............and the comfort of home during it.
5. I love old architecture, the narrow stair cases and little hide-aways, the natural wood, the sturdiness and warmth...so much character.
6. I got married too young and definitely not mature enough....what a valuable, valuuuuuable lesson in life.
7. I am a girlie-girl....love to shop, pretty nails, bubble baths, and spending time cooking in the kitchen (especially in good company!)
8. I hate conflict.....and truly thrive on peace and harmony (does anyone really like conflict?)
9. While I LOVE to be spontaneous and deffffinitely have an impulsive side :) I am mostly an orderly individual with plans, and a list!
10. I try to bake cookies every week for my kids lunches.....but end up eating over half of them myself....love sweets!
11. I have a thing for guys who chew cinnamon gum...such a sexy smell, don't you think?
12. I have learned that your partner must be your best friend. Period. :)
13. My new years resolution was to be on-time for everything.
14. Related to #13, I often drive tooooo fast and really need to slow down.
15. My house is always neat and orderly.
16. When I 'grow up'....I would love to have a dog, a big one...
17. We have a fish named, Finn ;)
18. I have the most amazing, sensitive, well-adjusted kids ever.
19. I really, really, really, really want to go to Maui (really)...(giggles).
20. I love sushi and the clean feeling I have after I eat it.
21. The other night, I ate a whole tub of Haagen Dazs ice cream...in one sitting (not so clean feeling).
22. I have a fantastic circle friends that have never left my side, well sort of ;)
23. I want to go to New York in December.
24. I have made huge mistakes in the past....AND more importantly...have learned from them.
25. I've reached a point in my life where I'm SO ready to put down roots and enjoy being with a great guy.
