Can't wait for the summer to come! Vancouver rocks in the summer!
Wanna hit the beach for a bbq and volleyball, go and sit at a patio for brunch, watching the celebration of lights with a 100,000 others , going for drinks with friends at lounge or restaurant with a patio, road trip to visit wineries in the Okanagan, or maybe Tofino where I've never been...watching some chinese movies or any movies late at night, the occasional karaoke, maybe find a cheap flight found thru YVR deals to Chicago or New York, having a cook off/ potluck with friends, playing golf at Whistler...try more indoor rock climbing, attend an art show or photography show or seminar, attend a cousin's wedding..and more weddings, test drive some cars...
So much to do in one summer...Life is too short!

Date single man from Canada. In my autobiography, the odd numbered chapters are about performing (music, comedy) and even ones are super nerdy. Today I play in one, live in the other, work on both. I've been lucky enough to travel all over this continent playing and working, but after living in Toronto for the last 4 years I'm happiest to be back in Vancouver, close to my family and friends (though since I've been gone, it seems that a rash of babies has broken out.)
I'm a fan of biking, concerts, road trips and mix tapes. I only really go dancing when I know the DJ or band is, but a great show will leave me with sore feet in the morning. I love being active but I don't understand "working out." I'd rather go for a ride or a run or play footy than go to a gym.
Sorry I'm really distracted right now- there's this cat outside my building that really looks like it wants to climb this tree but it's hesitant. I think it sees a bird or a squirrel up there, but it keeps circling and then poising to jump but then doesn't jump. Now he's going back around the other side again. Oh! He jumped! Yay, cat in a tree! He seems pretty excited, I think he's going to oh never mind, he's back on the ground now.
I have a great group of friends that I've been tight with for years and years, the group has grown but they're like a second family. I'm also close to my first family, where I grew up on Vancouver Island.
Ultimately I'm in this to find a person to settle in with, yeah the whole shabang.
Fact sheet:
My favorite place in the world is Tofino.
I'm a keyboard player and I collect music gear.
I studied and performed sketch and improv comedy for years but am currently out of the game.
I work in IT during the day.
I hear frequencies that other people don't, but often find myself asking people to speak up.
All my favorite TV shows get cancelled before their time.
I don't know anything about wine (but I like it just fine.)
If I go to a bar I want to be able to carry on a conversation.
I'm not "in to" hockey. I'll watch a game with friends and enjoy it, but I don't care who wins and I don't follow it. I say this because it clearly matters a lot to some people and that's cool, but it's not what I'm about. If you're okay, I'm okay.
I’m into someone who has their own things going on but likes to make downtime to do things together. A day out is as good as a night in.

Meet someone special from Canada. I consider myself to be pretty easy going, fun, and relaxed. I lead a healthy lifestyle of exercise, eating clean, spending time in nature, and continuous learning. Looking for someone to have some fun and a good laugh with. Not looking for anything serious, but open to starting a long term relationship. I have spent a lot of time in the mountains skiing and biking on my own and typically met people randomly, but think it would be more cool to plan something with a good match, either something simple in town or possibly going away.

. Hello there. Well... Currently I am working as a teacher and I'm enjoying almost every minute of it. I do my best to stay in good health by enjoying many different activities and sports. I have recently started to get myself settled back in the Okanagan after being somewhat of a nomad for the last few years with traveling and work. The best description of me would probably be that I am a nice, old fashion guy. I don't want to give it all out at once (haha, cause I'm not enjoying filling out this box) so you'll have to ask about the rest ;) I look forward to hearing from you!

. I'm a British-Canadian and now finally after many years of planning and procrastination, living my life dream of moving to Canada and living in BC.(crazy you might say but after a year and a half of living here I know I made the right decision). My weekdays are spent working hard at the office, meeting clients and thinking about where I would go at the weekend and what I would do... (I'd love to go to China, Japan and Vietnam but maybe also just once paddle along a river up north somewhere and ride a horse!)
Hardworking, honest, fun, ambitious, curious and loyal, I look forward to trying new things, meeting new people and enjoying all that this life has to offer - so many of us forget that the journey is the reward, not the destination...
I love waking up on a saturday (or a Thursday afternoon if I can bail out work early enough...), jumping in the car and getting out of the city to enjoy the spectacular landscapes in BC and beyond. I wish I had more time to do these things but am grateful for all the moments I can grab. There is so much to see in this life and I am so excited about being able to be here right now to experience this...
I know that my heart is here in British Columbia and although I spent a long time getting here (5 long years...), I hope I can find that person who I can share this journey with, and who is as passionate and adventurous about their life as they are about this world in which we live...
I'd love to meet someone who has an intelligent mind, who wants to question what it's all about over a glass of wine but yet is confident of who they are and where they are going and wants to laugh, cry, smile, shout and jump for joy along the way - Am I asking too much?

. lade back, I'm a lover of music and moves. my friends describe me as the thinker the one with the solution to the situation. when I DJ I go in a world that is that is beyond the turntables, creating new mixes and beats that move me.
I'm a romantic at hart, looking for someone that can love music with me. she must love kids and has a good family connection. she must know what she wants in live.

. Something about myself... WELL, I haven’t fought with pirates, nor have I swam the English Channel. I haven’t even been to Antarctica. But I have been lucky enough to travel to many far away places, and try to fulfill my passion in photography. I've created a lot of still, impactful images for myself and others. And I’ve made it my life’s goal to travel the world, eat lavishly, run every day and be as creative as possible towards everything I endeavor.
On a deserted island, I’d go insane without sushi, my camera, iphone, and music. Storytelling, creative innovation, no matter what the medium – make my heart go thump thump. I love the excitement of packing and going to the airport for a trip or taking the first bite of a food that I've never tasted in my life.
Let’s hangout for food and cocktails, chat and see where things go. If all works well, then let’s swim the English Channel together.

. A friend of mine has said that she believes that I have the power to manifest reality. She and I will have a conversation about something that needs to be done and often within days an opportunity then arises that will give us the tools to do whatever it is that we talked about (we have not talked about the lottery as of yet, but maybe I should make a phone call...). When this happens, when things just fall into place, it really freaks her out; it even surprises me at times. Of course, the truth is that I do not actually believe that I have the ability to distort reality; I am no Steve Jobs after all. What I do believe is that opportunity is always around us and we just need to put ourselves in a position or state to be able to recognize and achieve the things that are most important. That is why I am here on Match. I am ready to expand my opportunities to meet interesting people beyond my regular social circle.
It is a difficult thing to sit down and write a paragraph to describe myself. I could just answer the standard dating interview questions: I am 32 years old, own a business, am separated (it is amicable and definite), volunteer in my community, have the best dog in the world (Milo), like to travel hike and camp, I don't have kids but kids seem to like me, I love my mother, I like long walks on the beach, Pi?a Coladas and getting caught in the rain. Somehow that list just does not seem to be all that great of a description, so I asked a friend how he would describe me to a woman he thought should meet me. I copy and pasted his response without editing (yikes!), however I did add some editorial in brackets :-p
"I have a friend, who is very successful, busy, kind of good looking (thanks buddy), smart and probably getting rich down the road (I really need to make that call about the lottery). If you are looking for a guy who loves kids and has an awesome sense of humour, that's him. He also has interests that women really like such as shopping, drinking red wine and travelling (I feel the need to note that I also enjoy masculine things such as fishing and drinking an occasional beer)."
My long term goal is to find my partner. She will be kind and she will be intelligent. She will be adventurous enough to travel and explore and at the same time grounded enough to be successful in her goals. I am looking for a woman that sees each day as an opportunity rather than a burden. Someone that will teach me and learn with me. Someone to laugh with and to have inside jokes with. She will not be afraid to dream and she will be ready to act on opportunity when it comes.
I am going to be patient to find this woman, because the wait will be worth it. If you read this far and think we might fit, just send me a message and we can begin the process of finding out. Maybe you are her and maybe you are not, but I am willing to explore the opportunity and in the worst case I will meet a new friend and gain new experiences.
Best of luck with your search,
Dan
