I am a fairly independent kind of person but miss having someone with which to create special moments and to do things with. My priorities are my daughter who is with me on a part-time basis. I own and operate a retail store which has taken a lot of my time but now is at the point where I don't have to be hovering over it seven days a week.
I enjoy a round of golf but getting out two or three times a month doesn't improve one's score. Having a regular golfing partner would be a bonus.
I have enjoyed cruises and some travel to southern climes in the past. I'm thinking it is time to make time to do more traveling but don't like the idea of traveling alone.
I enjoy fine dining with a glass or two of wine as well as barbecued hamburgers and a beer. I also know my way around the kitchen and can put together a decent meal. Heck, I'd even light some candles and put flowers on the table. I like a glass of good single malt scotch now and then and a few beers with friends.
I have a quirky sense of humour which some get and some don't get. I like to watch comedies and will watch some of the classics over and over again.
I have been actively involved in community organizations in the past and have been involved in community theatre for about five years, on stage, behind the curtains and in an administrative role. I enjoy watching professional and amateur theatre, music concerts, and even some classical stuff.
