When teaching isn't keeping me busy I stay active by going running, doing yoga or anything that gets me outdoors. I'm an energetic Kindergarten teacher who likes to go out and experience the world. I'm passionate about volunteering and giving back to my community. Highlights from these experiences would include Camp Goodtimes (a camp for children with a history of cancer and their siblings) and most recently would be my trip to South Africa this summer. I spent two weeks volunteering in a township just outside Cape Town with kids. It was amazing. I'd like to say I'm the gal that goes hiking and camping and does all that cool fun 'outdoorsy' stuff but I haven't found people that want to or have the time to get out and do those things. I'm open minded and willing to give almost anything a try. I'm looking for somebody who is as enthusiastic about life as I am and has a good heart.
