Anytime I get the chance to tackle any sort of home renovations Im all on it. I often relate my thoughts on renovations to being in a relationship. I have a huge passion for food, i love to cook for family and friends, it could be a turkey dinner, some nice pasta with a fresh basil sauce or just plain mac and cheese, all from scratch of course. I have to admit, sometimes things dont turn out the best and instead of gettin upset I just learn from my mistakes and keep trying to create wonderful dishes.

Well I've been working in the film industry for the past 13 years. I've started editing some passions projects on the side, when I'm not working on the big movies that pay the bills. But my career goals aren't what are driving me at the moment. My immediate goals are to spend more time with people that matter, family and friends being that. And start working towards finding someone to share that with. All the money in the world is great, but if there's nobody to share it with, what's the point.

I don't know about unique, but I'm a successful, patient, understanding, articulate, nerdy, sporty, cultured male who's not only into the finer things in life, but doubles in life as a man who enjoys to chop wood and spend time at my float cabin. In my car you'll find a wide range of music... or not. I'm usually listening to hip hop. I love Jay-Z and Kanye, most R&B pop for that matter. But I usually have some Jack Johnson, John Mayer or some easy listening music for the long drives back to Vancouver Island. Where my family is from. I'd say that I like almost every type of music. I'm not a big metal fan or country fan, but there is always exceptions.

As a history some would say, I spent the first half of my teen / adult life traveling the world as a professional athlete, sport adventure film guy working in every enviroment and participating in every sport in which death or severe injury were likely outcomes. While I don’t necessarily agree with this, (as I was mostly having the time of my life). In retrospect I was probably, incredibly lucky to have survived. In addition to my mere survival I was also given some incredible opportunities to work behind the scenes. In the process I actually picked up a few things about business and marketing. This has come in extremely handy in the second half of my life as a professional.
What I want / my personality.
I like appropriate spontaneity, I have learned I am a die hard romantic. I like to laugh and think life should be fun. Its the little things that count for me. I love to travel and I love adventures. I believe an open mind and the willingness to try new things can conquer almost any obstacle where your attendance is required. Since I find life is more about who your with than what your doing. It would be outstanding to have my partner be my best friend, someone for whom I have ultimate respect for, not just a lover. For me actions speak louder than words.
I think the best relationships are 50% life as a couple 50% life as individuals. This last bit should be easy but its so hard. On jealousy, tried it once, sort of like brussel sprouts I won't try either again. Sometimes I can't help but do ridiculous displays of affection like driving to pick my significant other at the airport even though there is a train straight there. And I like to get there a little early because nothing beats a suprise swing around the stars hug at the gate to beat traveling blues away. I don't mind making 1st coffee in the morning and I'll even turn out the lights at night (sticking your freezing feet above my knees without reparations is pushing it though;)

It turns out to be harder than I thought to explain my entire being up till now and all my future desires for a mate in 2000 characters, but if it does i would love to hear from you.
