If you smoke, if you do drugs or if you are a borderline alcoholic you can skip this profile if you are looking to date or if you are looking for something long term. I will not date a smoker, anyone who does drugs or anyone who is a heavy drinker. Been there and done that and I will not do it again. If you do one or more of these things, I have no problems talking to you and I will not lecture you about it. I will just not date you. I know what I want, just as I am sure you know what you want. Example... if you are looking for a bodybuilder-type, pass on me. I am not a beefcake nor am I high maintenance. Attraction is a big deal and if you are not attracted to the person in some way, it just will not work as far as dating goes.
As far as my preferences when it comes to body type; I am attracted to average/thin/slender/athletic women shorter than me. I am 6'3" so, more than likely, height will not be a problem. I hesitated typing "average" because that is a vague word when dealing with body types. When I think of it, so is "athletic". I have been in a relationship with women with "a few extra pounds" or BBW. We can be friends, but dating will not be an option. Again, I have been there and done that. I am not attracted to that body type. Some call it vain... I call it knowing what I like. You should have some pictures to share. That does not mean that I have to see them right away or that they have to be on your profile. Just be willing to show them to me. We would have to exchange pictures before we met. Now, I just want to end off this paragraph by saying that a great personality usually always trumps stunning good looks.
I am not religious. I do not go to church. I know that this is important to some people; God and church, but it simply is not for me. If this is VERY important to you, we can still be friends, but it will probably be hard to have a relationship, especially if you continuously bring it up. I have no problem with you being religious as long as you do not push it on me. Again, I am NOT religious nor do I go to church.
If you're still reading, great! I say what is on my mind and I am honest. I know that this profile will scare some people away, but so be it. That being said, I am a real person. This is me. I could not decide what to put as "what I was looking for". I guess I am looking for a little bit of most of the options, but ultimately I am here to find an open-minded and fun woman to be with... then evolving into a relationship perhaps? If you are looking for friends, talk/e-mail, hang out, activity partner, whatever; that is fine. I can do that. I am versatile. Each one of the options starts with a form of communication, so I believe that is where we should start. Another thing, I am NOT afraid of commitment, if it gets to that stage.
I am told that I look younger than my age and I do have pictures that I can send to you so that you can judge for yourself. I can tell you that I feel younger than my age. Age is just a number, in most cases, anyway. I am open-minded, easy to talk to and to get along with, intelligent, have a varied sense of humor, a great listener, very caring, loyal, honest and a great kisser. When I am in a relationship; that is my focus. I am also man enough to say that I love kissing and cuddling and hugging and holding hands. This seems alot like kijjiji where I sold my canoe so I guess I will give it a try.
I play guitar and sing, make wine, run, cycle, motorcycle, have a dog, an 11 yr old son, gone back to school, an officer in army reserves, speak alittle swahilli, little in the way of baggage, have travelled more than average and want to do more travelling, I acted locally and did a dinner theatre a few years ago somewhere else, I guess that sums up my life as of current.
So, if you are someone who is looking for a decent guy, with a positive attitude, who is not boring, who can treat you right, well you have been reading the right profile.
