I live in the east end of Toronto in and nice loft style condo right by the beach. It's a nice place, and aside from the big chunk of mortgage, it's all mine! I have an interesting, challenging, and at times pretty fun job. I travel a bit for work and a lot for fun (favorite places Barbados, Maui, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Cape Hatteras). I like trying new restaurants and going for drinks with friends. There's a time and a place for clubs and dancing, but I'm at my best on a nice patio with drinks and good company. I'm comfortable in a suit and have some nice ones (but never need one for work). I’m active, play hockey three days a week before work, jog a little, ride my bike a lot, and am getting back into yoga. I surf, have a stand up paddleboard, have been snowboarding for years, and travel the world kitesurfing (my main thing). One day I’d like to live somewhere I can walk to the beach and surf year around. Toronto would be fine if it wasn’t for winter. I read the economist every week, have subscribed for years, listen to the CBC news, and catch BBC news when I have a chance. Being up on and informed (and having an opinion) on world issues is a a big part of me. I'd like to meet and make some new friends. I'm definitely looking to meet someone special to share my life with.

Meet a man from Canada. I would say I am a down to earth person who is relaxed during personal time and driven during work time. I love going on adventures around town, throwing away the watch on the weekend and enjoying every free moment I have discovering new things around the city…or just having good conversation about life, philosophies, and experiences.
I’m a passionate person who has strong principle, values, goals and aspirations. I believe that that we are privileged with the life that we are given and it is up to us to make the best of every opportunity. I spend a fair bit of time photographing, painting and working. Meet people from Canada. I like getting out and doing things like bike riding, motorcycling and skiing in the winter. Travelling to do those things is even better. If I could meet someone who likes doing these things or is at least willing to give it a real shot, that would be awesome. And to be perfectly honest, I am also comfortable at home or sitting on a bar stool, pint in hand and a hockey game on the big screen.
One thing of note: I dropped 25lbs recently, so the pics are not quite acurate. Hopefully I can meet someone who is also in decent shape.
Now I know beggars can't be choosers, however....I'm sure your kids are great, and I'm gradually warming up to the small children my friends have, but I'm not looking for an "insta-family". So if you have kids, I'm afraid I'm not your guy.

About me: I am a well balanced person, am quick to give the benefit of doubt, value respect, honesty, and integrity, and don't take life too seriously. Those who know me would say that I am good natured, smile more often than not, fun loving, have a strong character, and have the worlds worst poker face :) I spent much of my childhood overseas, which gave me a valuable perspective of other cultures, and now apreciate what we have in Canada. My family has settled all over the country, and I enjoy my trips to Ottawa to see my two nieces. I have a great career that I find challenging and rewarding, which in turn brings out the best in me. When I listen to the 12 year old devil on my shoulder, good stories allways follow - I can tell you what it's like to finish a 24 hour mountain bike relay race, why I want to go back to the wine tours in Niagra, why lobster bibs make the world a better place, and 10 different ways to fill an air mattress - and why none of them work.
