I am looking for someone who can share their experiences; I want to be swept away by her stories so deeply that I want to feel like I have walked 50 miles in her shoes. I need to laugh more; just by looking at her and seeing joy that just makes me crack up with true laughter. Understanding is nice, but if she doesn't understand my thoughts, it would be exciting to have her ask questions with genuine interest; but if we're are on the same page, she should push further, so I don't feel like I have to always guide her to understand my thoughts.
I would appreciate someone who has a more firm grasp on reality then I do: I do know how to "act" normal (normal as in being accepted into the general workings of society) but, I always have my head in the clouds. I like her to pull me down, so I don't lose myself, yet I want to be able to take her to fantastical places that my imagination creates and I want her to enjoy it, not because of being with me, but because I have shown her something truly amazing or at least things that make her mind and heart start racing.
Another thing I'm looking for in a person is emotional presence in the sense that even if they don't want to share the personal reasons for the way that they feel, they will still be able to tell me how they're feeling, in return I will give my emotional support to the fullest degree. Even though I may be looking for a relationship, I find that this emotional availability does extend to friendship.
