So what happened to that tried and true method and worry free instinctual practice? Some may say that the change was inevitable, that it is part of the ever shifting monster we call evolution and is necessary for humans to grow into the enlightened beings we are to become; I disagree.
I have observed today’s Man and have concluded that evolution, if it is indeed the cause, has put a monkey wrench into the machine of life. I watch men as they fuss with their hair (or worse...their hair plugs), pull at their custom tailored monkey suits and sit ever so proudly in a shiny machine that, for some reason, they believe it to be a part of who they are. This evolutionary Man has a more than a few screws loose and places all of his self worth into objects that society has led him to believe are signs of success; sadly ignoring the fundamental goal of life which is true happiness.
I am different somehow and through some universal error of sorts evolution has ignored me. I don’t have a need to impress my peers with the acquisition of objects nor do I require a facade of a cosmetic nature to feel secure. Although at times I wish that evolution could have taken a moment to physically alter my caveman like aspects such as the hair in my ears...a small price to pay I suppose.
At this point, you my beautiful reader may have made an incorrect assumption of me in which you may now think that I am a hippy of sorts and live off the land in some commune...I can assure you that I am not. I realize that the world is not a free, love filled ball of carefree bliss and that if one is to enjoy the bounties of life; one must be able to afford them. It is with this knowledge I have secured my place in this monetary existence with fair standing and in short; don’t get your panties in a bunch because you will be getting a nice gift on your birthday.
There are no better reminders of this cash and carry lifestyle than my two daughters. I have with me (full time...all the time), a fifteen year old and a nineteen year old, both products of MTV. They are my life to an extent and they have, over time, shaped me into the man I am today. A peaceful co-existence with my self-centered, egotistical and materialistic daughters would be required (they may be slightly more tolerable than I have described them to be...slightly).
So there you have it, a simple peek into my workings, a somewhat better understanding of the aspects that touch on who I am...vague as it may seem. You obviously have some interest in me, my writings or perhaps like the way I look; either way...it just takes a short hello to ignite a possible fire that may burn for the remainder of your life.
An afterthought; guaranteed results would require you to be intelligent, witty, sexy and open-minded.

I’m honest, open, loyal, intelligent, witty with a somewhat odd sense of humour (I enjoy making others laugh), and sensitive to the needs of others, to list a few. I’m a pretty easygoing guy who enjoys cooking (but enjoys the eating part more - really, who doesn't? LOL). I’m very mechanically inclined and a handyperson, usually with a project or two (many) on the go. I value education and believe in continuous improvement.
I (try to) stay fit by playing hockey year round and by being active through cycling, inline skating, golfing, tennis, and going for walks. I enjoy getting outdoors whenever possible – camping (with my tent trailer, although I’d like to try portaging if my partner is willing), going to friends’ cottages, hiking, scuba diving, fishing, and biking.
It might sound like I have a relatively full schedule but I also ensure there’s a work-life balance. I enjoy my downtime too – sitting in the backyard, enjoying a beverage on a patio, cuddling to a flick or some TV, getting together with friends/entertaining, learning/playing guitar, or just going for a drive. As much as I work hard, I like to play hard as well. It’s important to me to share activities and moments with that special someone.
I’m looking for a true “partner” who has similar interests, brings new interests to the table, and desires doing things together while respecting each other's individuality (e.g. poker night with the boys for me, shopping with the girls for her - I hear women like to do that LOL).
