I work methodically but in my personal life II like sharing time with family and friends with a relaxed approach. I love to laugh and am often told I have a terrific smile. My children who are now young adults so I'm focusing more on myself and exploring life. I tend to be shy at first but once I warm up to others my personality blooms -- energetic, quick witted', with just a touch of child-like silly -- not to be mistaken for being a dumb 'broad' -- actually dislike that term for any woman very much. I enjoy exercise in the forms of walking, gardening, curling, ice-skating, snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, snow mobiling [with someone else or a group], water skiing and laughing d-a-i-l-y. I've been involved in recreational baseball in the recent past and have done the YMCA x 2-3 a week thing and 'Curves' daily women's fitness so you can say I look after myself. However, more natural means of exercise -- yard work/gardening, snow shoveling [yes, I find it refreshing in moderation of course] suit me for the time being. Mostly I joy taking in nature walking my dog Tasha, to stretch and unwind. We're a good pair. I'm not afraid 'rough-it' [aka -camping, cottage-like] but do best with a hot cup of coffee first thing in the morning after sleeping on an air mattress & outhouses/'port-a-potty' are 'gross' but what can a girl do?
I find it pleasing to cook for others who can appreciate my extra effort(s). I can whip up a meal on suggestion if you give me an idea what food you have a hankering for. Not exactly a gourmet cook, I still like to be a little adventurous a few times a year [month, week, depends who I'm with.
I'd like my special man to be passionate, easy-going, and gentlemanly as the occasion calls for. He'd be my 'rock' should my legs get kicked out from underneath. Be assured I'll reciprocate if/when the time comes. I like to work together with my man at mutual interests but can accept times when he must following his own interests. I'm not that needy and need balance in my own areas. Definitely not interested if you're a liar; work-a-holic, or self-absorbed. Honesty and communication rank high in whom I share my life with.
