I've just started a new job as an IT consultant. I've been at it a very short time, so currently most of my free time is being consumed with getting my feet under me again. I'm looking forward to a little more free time once i get settled into this job. As it is right now,I don't get out as much as I'd like, and mostly everyone in my social circle is married and settled down. Which is what brings me here!
I love cooking, hiking, and doing creative little jobs around the house if it means I get to build something. Camping and fishing are both things I enjoy. I have a little piece of property up north where I spend my free time to get away from the noise of the cities.
So, what am I looking for?
Well, I'm looking for a girl that is affectionate and caring. Someone that likes getting all dressed up to go out somewhere fancy, or can stay in and have a quiet night together. Although I do like clubs and the night scene on occasion, I'd much rather have someone that enjoys the finer things in life and doesn't need to go out drinking every weekend. The perfect partner to me might not share all the same interests with me, but will want to be a part of the things I enjoy and will want me to be a part of the things she enjoys.

I'm adventurous and high energy, but also quite practical and calm, humble and quiet but still confident, outspoken but I know when to just shut up, very straight forward might even say blunt sometimes, quite competitive but not cocky. Having spent quite a bit of my life to this point chasing my personal goals, mainly motocross, I think I’m now I'm ready to slow down a bit and find someone to share the simpler things in life with. Work is something I enjoy but its not my life, it’s just income to do what I really enjoy.
I love to challenge myself and others, learning new skills is exciting. passionate about outdoors, rock climbing, hiking, paddling, camping, yoga has become a new obsession it makes my battered body feel a lot better. Haven't had the chance to travel as much as Id like, and there are definitely a lot of places Id still like to visit. Eating healthy is a big deal to me, organic food and hemp protein are big parts of my diet, though I still have a huge weakness for chinese, thai and jerk takeout. I'm not a big person, 5’10” 160lbs(working my butt of to gain another 20lbs, good weight too not just a belly), but I do take care of myself, exercise everyday, mostly on a mountain bike, some weights.
I’m looking for someone who is independent and ambitious, know your strengths and weaknesses in life, have strong character and self confidence, don’t mind getting dirty, maybe for a living maybe just for fun, open minded in your thoughts and ideas, can laugh openly at yourself, will help push me to be a better person but still accept me for what I am.

Date someone special from Ontario, Canada. Now that I got your attention you can probably tell what one of my favourite things to do in the summer is. I absolutely love to hang around the beach at my family's cottage up on Georgian Bay. Fires on the beach with marshmallows and a cold one, good friends and family all around. You can also find me at the Air Canada center cheering for the leafs. ( I know I know such a bad season last year I cant help but cheer for our team). After games I like to find a good bar with either live bands or karaoke to laugh and sing along with friends. Playing hockey and baseball are always on my list of things to on Sundays. You can find me lacing up my skates every week for hockey or a leisure skate at an outdoor rink. I am not a stranger to to the kitchen. You will often find me there whipping up some tasty treats or scrumptious meals. Don't forget the BBQ, nothing makes a warm saturday night better then compeating with my neighbours at our annual rib fest on who has the best ribs. Yes there is a trophy.

I am 30 years old (just)with a good job in the insurance industry. There are also a lot of positions up the corporate ladder for me to climb so I'm actually looking forward to the next few years of work (sounds odd to hear myself say that). Currently in the market for my first home, Almost had it a few years ago but.... long story.
Travel definitly interests me but I haven't considered it a priority so I haven't done much of it yet. I will however jump on every opportunity to hit cottage country and beyond. I love the outdoors and definitly see myself retiring on a lake somewhere not a condo downtown.
I havn't dated much in the last year or so as a new career has kept me extremely busy and I just kept to myself untill I was comfortable with the workload. It's still daunting at times so if this profile sparks a response from anyone please don't be offended in a late reply. At the risk of sounding cliche "I'm not looking for anything serious right now" key words "right now". As spontaneous as I am I've never been one to rush into things, I think the only way to gauge that you are compatible with someone is to take the time to see if you can be friends first. If things progress great! but atleast you know it was natural not forced and there was no pressure which will only complicate things in the future.
