I also am enrolled to do my Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology at UBC's Kelowna Campus. It has been a lifelong goal I now have the opportunity to acheive since my daughter is graduating from high school in June of 2012 I am interested in establishing my own counselling business when I've completed the program. I am interested in vocational/rehab counselling and mental health issues. I enjoy trying new things and travelling. My divorced should be finanlized by the end of summer after a 3 and half years. It has been a long haul for me to obrain a divorce. I enjoy seeing on TV and reading the latest books by Joyce Meyers, and Joel Olsteen I am a great cheerleader for any of my friends who participate in sporting activities, but I myself do not play sports, but I myself do not participate for reasons which I would disclose privately. I am a srtong person who has learned to overcome many challenges in life. I will not tolerate being in the company of a drunken person or someone who smokes. Prior to getting married I worked as a teacher, and after obtaining a certificate in Career Counselling, I worked as a vocational cousellor in a private firm and then for the Federal Government as a Project Officer administrating funds to agencies who offered employment training skills to individuals who had barriers to employment. I also am very creative and make gift baskets, hand tied blankets and stage homes which are going on the market to sell. I love helping people and having fun. I am an open minded person who trys to be non judgemental.
