I am more of a visual person, some of my favorite film makers are Woody Allen, Cohen Brothers, David Lynch, Andrei Tarkovsky, Pedro Almod?var. For the same reason my favorite live shows are modern dance, and we were lucky enough in Ottawa to have here on a few occasions Sidi Larbi and Akram Khan. I like art, paintings in particular, I could spend hours in museums (with the obligatory breaks and stretching ...) and if you are like me and want to see everything that the Impressionists have done then you know there are quite a number of places to visit.
But that’s just fine with me because I really love to travel. Over the years I have visited about forty countries, mostly as an independent traveler as this allows me to enjoy best the local culture and people. That’s challenging as it is rewarding, and I have learned to prepare for the unexpected. And that is exactly the main point, otherwise why would anyone show up somewhere and see what one already imagined?
Exercise is important to me. It helps me keep a good balance with work (until I win the lottery) and keeps me fit for my next travel destination. And that does not always have to be far away. The trails and lakes in the Gatineau and Algonquin Parks are fabulous. I try something new once in a while then I usually fall back to my favorites: camping, hiking, cycling, canoeing in the summer, cross country skiing in the winter, running and yoga in all seasons.
When asked, about 99% of the people think they have a sense of humor and I am one of them. My favorite philosopher is Woody Allen.
I would like to meet someone who is funny (sarcasm welcomed), smart, kind, and who takes their responsibilities seriously and yet do not take themselves too seriously. My ideal partner likes to travel and is willing to explore new destinations. I am looking for someone to share the outdoors, cultural events or other simple things of life.

Well let’s see now.. I believe that I would be most attracted to a woman that possesses the qualities of a true lady but can be kind of one of the boys too... Physically: petit, average, curvy...Ethnic back ground...No preference ... A woman that gives with her heart (thoughtful/ caring/ encourageing/ honest/ passionate).
