A couple of places on my bucketlist is Victoria Falls in Africa and the blue hole in Belize (Google it...itРІР‚в„ўs spectacular!). The beauty of our planet truly amazes me! I would love to travel more - not a lot - but 1 or 2 trips a year to get a break from the winter weather. I donРІР‚в„ўt really desire to visit a place twice...my attitude is that there is so much of the world to see, why would you want to go to the same place?
My work week is busy with my kids and teaching and so on the weekends I like to do more low key kinds of things (this is not to say that I donРІР‚в„ўt like to whoop it up now and then - life has to stay fun and exciting!) This being said, I enjoy trying new restaurants followed by a quite walk around the area. I have awesome friends who have great hubbies so getting together with them for dinner and drinks is always a good time. I enjoy attending local festivals such as Jazz festivals (Hess Village in Hamilton, Grape and Wine in St. Catharines, Rib Fest in Burlington), going to craft shows, shopping for clothes and for my home (Home Sense is a fun place!). I like watching movies in theatres or in the quiet of my home. I LOVE the music of the 80's and 90's (New Wave) as it brings back fond memories of my highschool days! I also enjoy a wide variety of other types of music - with the exception of country....sorry to those cowboys out there! :) I very much enjoy going to concerts and always keep my eye on upcoming shows to spend my hard earned money on.
The things that make me smile are my kids, my dog, and my students. My kids are my life. I have an 8 year old girl who is beautiful, funny, creative, energetic, and smart (just to name a few). I also have a boy who is 7. He is handsome, hilariously funny and loves sports - is huge into hockey, football, and most recently “shooting hoops!” My dog is also something that makes me smile. Lucy, like all dogs, loves unconditionally. She is always waiting at the door with her tail wagging, excited to see us home. My students also make me smile. Grade one is a very challenging grade to teach but when I see how far they have come in June, it makes me feel so proud.

Meet a woman from Ontario, Canada. Hi Guys, thanks for looking at my profile. Sorry for the pics, but like most people the camera is not kind to me!! It's tough to sum up who you are in a few short sentences, but here goes.....
I am a very honest person who treats people well and I expect no less from those around me. No games, No B.S. I have a wicked sense of humor and love to laugh,.......even at myself!! Humor is a must have for me. It's what gets me through this crazy life. I am most comfortable in a T-shirt and jeans and will take on any project that gets my hands dirty, but clean up just fine for a night out on the town. I'm not much into bars or clubs, a patio or pub is the preference.
In the winter I love to ski and want to learn to snowboard next. Like most people I hope to escape the cold every year and vacation somewhere warm. I spend my summers around boats, either sailing, power boating or sea dooing. It's all good !!!! I do have my own boat and could always use more crew. Just keep in mind your uniform will be a Speedo or Thong. KIDDING!! I've also taken up mountain biking and scuba diving recently. Am currently looking for a "Dive Buddy", any takers ? LOL !!
I was introduced to international travel 2 years ago and love it. I've already seen some amazing places and want to see more. I would like travel to be a big part of my future and hope to find someone who shares the same interest. Am looking for someone who can think "Outside the Box" and realizes there is way more to life than sitting on a couch watching T.V. !! O.K.......watching T.V. on a cold winters night in front of a fireplace with a glass of vino with someone special is pretty awesome too I must admit !!
I've learned that spontaneity can be a lot of fun and not to sweat the small stuff anymore as life is too short, the house and yard work will be there when I get back !!
