I am extremely thankful for my two wonderful teens who don't present me with TOO many challenges ?
I do find myself missing sharing my life with someone. I have been on my own for six years. It took me a while to feel like I was ready and interested in exploring the scary world of dating. I did date a bit, and then sort of went back into 'hibernation' for a little while. Now I am 'poking my head out of the cave' to see how the other half lives.
I am looking for someone who truly enjoys his life, has a good relationship with his family, and is very stable (in work, personal and financial ways). I am not looking for someone to take care of me financially but a potential partner would need to take care of themselves and their responsibilities.
I work for a health care agency, M-F, business hours. I really enjoy things of an artistic nature but am a pretty open minded, easily adaptable person. I do like learning a trait I wish I had MORE of when I was younger?.
I (and I think my friends and colleagues would agree) think of myself as a kind easy going person. I would be able to carry on a conversation with most personalities. (I would have the most difficulty with someone who is arrogant) but sometimes people just come across that way when they are nervous.
I am not in very good shape at this stage of the game but would like to be and would encourage (some) to look past the facade. Having said that I do understand that the 'look' does play a pretty big role too, so I guess you just have to try and see what works.

I am a strong, independant women that has a career that I enjoy, friends that I cherish, family that I love, and a life I am passionate about.
Would love to find a friend that I like spending time with, that is equally as passionate about his life. Someone who is happy, has a sense of humour, challenges me mentally, enjoys family life, and has direction in his life.
Don't mind if there is baggage, as long as you are not buried under it(let's face it by this age we all have some).
