At the same time, I hold two diplomas and have been self-employed since 1988, so something is going right. I always work at what I enjoy, and my boss is wonderful because I work for myself.
After losing my husband so early I am regrouping and starting over so-to-speak and it isn't easy as you get older. My son is young and at home, so he is always my priority in my life. He comes first, so everything else has to follow. It is all a work-in-progress.

When I am not teaching high school, during the week you would catch me going for a run, taking my dog Molly for a walk or strongly urging my 16 year old daughter to do her homework. Weekends are when I enjoy kayaking the Harrison River, reading mystery novels or having a glass of red wine in the garden listening to the quiet (and occasional power washing ARRRGH!). A dream I have is to join a bike tour across Europe, staying at BBs while eating something delicious.

Family is very important to me. My closest friends are still the ones I had when I was 12 - regardless where life has taken them. I am steadfast, yet I love excitement, and I focus on people who look at the potential in life, rather than the obstacles.

My interests range from gourmet cooking, classical piano, to barrel racing horses. I am darned good on a pool table, but I can't bear to take a fish off a hook.

. I'm sitting here - for a very long time- trying to start this. OK, lets take the easy way out - My friends -hehe- would tell you I am very funny! I can usually see the humor in most things. So, I'm fun and funny, Ron James can make me laugh out loud. I always inject humor in my education classes - laughter makes everything easier. Open minded, currently reading Fifty Shades of Grey - hehe.(Funny, did I mention cheeky?) Caring, which lead me to a nursing career, which I now have the pleasure of working only days. I enjoy warm weather outdoor activities - hate to be cold. I'm as comfortable gutting the fish we just caught - back at the "fully loaded" cabin- as I am with my makeup and long nails. Hostess? I can cook and serve drinks, lol.

. I have many interests but don't try to do them all at once. Photography and travel are my biggest ones and my next trip will probably be to the same place my last one was, Scotland. Both sides of my family are from there and the whole country fascinates me. I love castles as one side of my family used to own them. I appreciate that my family decided to move to Canada but damn, you lived in a CASTLE! I also love to visit warmer climates but need someone to make sure I have enough sunscreen on.
Going out to eat or cooking a meal together, I prefer the latter but also enjoy going out to eat once in a while. Love watching movies while snuggled in front of a nice fire on a cold night. I enjoy going for long walks to nowhere in particular and stopping for a beverage when we get there. I know what I like in a man but attraction has to start it all off.
