I like dirt biking, playing sports, lighting a roaring fire and chatting with friends. Taking the dogs down to the lake and watching them cavort around. Kayaking, the gym. I make incredible soups when it is cold and rainy outside, as that to me is comfort food. I don't mind losing as long as both people have given their best - dives, throw downs or "oops she is a girl", nope that will have the redhead temper flaring. I have a quirky sense of humour and I love to banter. Brain and heart are more important to me than brawn. But if you can wrap it all up in one person - that is the point of delicious.

. I am originally from Montreal, born and bred. I moved to Nelson BC two years ago to get out of the city and into the mountains. I am a complete nature-junkie, who loves the water, camping, the outdoors, green spaces, open spaces, trees and animals. I love the independence my 8-year old twin boys experience here. People are friendly, weather is beautiful and everything just smells alive and wonderful. Montreal will always be my home and I go back when I can to visti family and friends....and to spend time at our family cottage, my most favorite spot in the world. My father built in over 40 years age and it' means everything to me.
This is strange, being a site like this. I've been single for 4 years now and didn't even contemplate dating or relationships. Every ounce of energy I had went into my boys, providing them with a stable lile and making sure they were happy and secure. But I finally feel ready to meet someone to share things with and to be with.
I currently work as a translator and editor for a Quebec based media company. I also give French lessons to kids around Nelson. Basically the things that make a up a good person. No smokers, heavy drinkers or hunters. It's just my thing.
