I tend not to go out on the town in the evenings much (not being into the bar seen). However you may often find me having coffee, lunch or walking with a friend. I studied at BCIT in Burnaby and NWCC in Terrace, Live in Prince Rupert and consider BC to be my home.
I have three grown, beautiful and intelligent children. My interests include but are not limited to: boating, hiking, scuba anything mechanical and my motorcycle of course. I ski in the winter, mostly. Sometimes I just start at the top and let gravity do the rest. I love to dance and sing often. I am not good at either but that has never stopped me. I am taking dance lessons and anybody that doesn't like my singing, well they don't have to listen. I tend to be a little reserved at first but warm up in time, am friendly and very loyal to my friends. I believe in taking good care of my family and friends first, having fun and taking some chances. I own two small businesses and am very active in my community. I love a challenge and a good conversation and will sometimes play the devals advocate just for fun but honesty, kindness and sincerity are a must for me. And. All this leave just enough room for one special woman in my life.

I would like to continue, at least part time, making a living/life on my little piece of Texada. So far, there is no line-up of singles wanting to move here. I’d like to consider spending time elsewhere, though at this point, Powell River is far enough. The house is a bit of a beater, but it and the three acres it is on is paid for. I have no debts, no ex-wives, no kids. My forestry career works out to about a half-time job.
In the winter, I’m getting to PR twice a week for sports. There are a couple of kayaks stashed out back. I’d rather play crokinole (11th annual tourney coming up) than scrabble. I don’t faceblog or twerp.
I’m looking for a fit, well adjusted, good humoured person to live with, grow food (I’m an omnivore) and entertain. Lots of space and good soil here to garden. If you have an industrial-strength rototiller, that would be a bonus.

I am an older father and have three kids- a 7 year old boy, a 6 year old girl and a 23 year old daughter (actually step-daughter, but I refer to her as my daughter because I don't like the other term). I would like to say I am a sailor, but since I am currently boatless, I can't really say that. However, there will be another boat(sailboat but power is OK too) I also scuba dive and would like to get back into golf. I also still ride my bicycle quite a lot.
