Meet people from Canada. I'm easy going and enjoy outdoor activities, however can appreciate quiet time reading a great book or catching a movie. My friends describe me as down to earth and easy going and I'd like to meet a special guy who is a kindred spirit to mine. I have 2 wonderful grown kids who are attending post secondary school. Now is the time I'd like to travel and meet a companion who has similar interests and can enjoy the scenery with me. Travel to historical places is on my agenda. Thus far, my favourite city is New Orleans. It's a historical and musical place. I'd like to visit that wonderful city again. Trying something new is an adventure for me. I recently joined a rowing club and graduated from the lessons as most improved. I'm also a music fan who still goes to at least one concert a year. My music collection is varied; from classical to U2 and Radiohead. My favourite movies are comedies. A good drama is also enjoyed by me. I'm at the gym 3-4 times a week, but my preference is yoga classes. I love dogs, but admit to being afraid of my friends' pit bull terrier. Sense of humour is important because I can be silly at times. Other times, I tune into world events on the news. Balance is the key to enjoying what life has to offer and in a mutually good relationship.
