I'm pretty lucky really. Good family, amazing nieces and nephew, good health, good friends and great job.
In my spare time I like to walk, jog, cook, paint, read and go to shows. I like to have a couple pints or wine with friends. Love microbrews and imports. This year I traveled a bit for work, rented a cottage and I'm planning trips to NYC and/or Paris. When I need to ground myself I head back east to spend time with family. Every year I try to learn something new. This year I started painting again and I'd like to start piano lessons.
I'm not the white picket fence type nor do I want to learn how to fish. I like art openings, galleries, poetry slams, dancing, and restaurants.
I like to meet new people and really getting to know them. I'm in no rush to "find a perfect someone" for me. I like my life, I'm happy and meeting someone special will be an added bonus.
Love music! Favourite type of music is soul. Also like indie, songwriters, jazz, Latin, reggaeton, electronica, house… no country.
Love movies, especially independent and foreign films. Also like martial arts and zombie movies. Some of my favourites include Amelie, Incendies, Kill Bill, An Education, Little Miss Sunshine and Seven Pounds. I don't have cable (I finally gave it up last winter), but I like to watch series like The Wire and Breaking Bad.
