Forgive me if I am a little overly cautious because my first experience with a match was more like a hit n run and it hurt. Here is some information about me. I am looking for that "tall ( 5'8 ) dark skin colour, pretty good looking man with a BIG heart". My DaD was Norwegian and my MoM was Irish. I am quick witted and can make the perfect comments/jokes - usually at the right time. I love my job, my family and my friends and my ONE cat. I am very lucky to have such an amazing group of friends. I like to dance but don't think I am that great at it. I love to cuddle and go for those walks at night, through a park, on any beach or in the rain. I am very organized and my home is my castle and I keep it very clean. I'm not high maintenance but I do care about how I look - truth be said that we all see the outsides before getting to know the insides. If the wrapping is attractive - thats a true bonus - but it really is the inside out that counts - even if that sounds a little poetic. I grew up in a small town - pop. 12,000 - and still have those hometown values. I learned to become independant and self assured after living in the GTA for so many years. The last relationship I was in, he was from Trinidad and recently divorced. Unfortunately for me, his interest was to have more than one girl friend. I think he enjoys the show "Sister Wives" a little too much. I don't do well at sharing my man; so I had to end it. We do remain friends. I do not drink often so it does not take much for me to feel the effects of alcohol. LoL - but it is great liquid courage. I have Celiac so I have to eat gluten free. I have been able to manage this since being diagnosed 7 years ago. This just means that I eat food that is 100% - veggies and meat, etc - with no seasoning or sauces - kind of brutal at times but its not so bad and not as inconvient as it was years ago. It's not so uncommon now for people to chose to eat this way as it is very healthy !!! My brother and I lost our MoM and DaD in 1976 and 1974 respectively. We grew up with our aunt and uncle and four cousins. So I have been part of a small family, as well as a large family. I have lived upper class and lower/middle class. My friends call me Sunshine or Smiley because I do smile alot - but probably not in my sleep !!! I was a brunette but have been a blonde for about 10 years. Just works better. I am very punctual, thoughtful, romantic, shy at times ( but not when I text/bbm/email - which maybe I should be at times - but I have to admit that putting yourself out there is what makes me a little nervous - but I am willing so that I will find my perfect match ) Unfortunately, I can be impatient at times, especially when it comes to punctuality; but am working on that !!! I believe that a sexual relationship is as important as open communication, honesty and trust. Respect, humor, thoughtful, with beautiful dark eyes and having a romantic spark are great attributes to have and to which I truly do long for in a, hope to be; long termed relationship.
