I don't know where to start..... I'm a confident woman but am totally terrified of this on-line dating stuff - I've been out of the dating scene for many years and it's a little scary out there! I have one (actually I have 3) absolutely beautiful and intelligent daughters (one of my own and two step-children) and we all have a great relationship. I feel 10 feet tall when I'm with my girls - I'm so proud!! My family is huge - I have 10 full and step brothers and sisters and they're all awesome - I'm the oldest girl and there isn't a greater feeling in the world than being surrounded by my siblings! All my little bros (they're all over 6 feet!!) love to protect their older sis - I feel so special:) We're a really unique family - we're all best friends, always there for support, love, and opinions (whether we want to hear it or not!).
Our family isn't perfect - in fact my daughter once said that we're a dysfunctional family that functions very well - that being said, we're normal!! There's been separations and divorces, but we're all still family - the in-laws and the out-laws are always welcome! That doesn't happen very often, so I'm very proud of my family for that and instilling in all of us "kids" that we shouldn't judge each other.
I'm a creative person - painting and sculpture but I also love to build things, fix things and take on a challenge. Give me a saw and hammer and I'll be building something - put me in the shop and I'll be working on one of my vehicles. I love old school vehicles and I still have my old chev truck from when I was in high school - it's been in the family since 1969! Some year I hope to find myself in the front row at a Barrett-Jackson auction with a fistful of cash!!
I'm also a collector (said with tongue in cheek!) - I raise horses but I have a hard time selling them:( My family says in order for me to be profitable, I need to breed them, raise them and sell them. Well, I have some great mares and I raise some incredible foals but to sell them? That's like asking me to sell one of my kids! They're pets and they're a part of my family, so along with the few cats that I've rescued, I have 2 jobs to support my "family" of animals! haha I'm not a fanatical animal rescuer, but kids and animals sometimes need protection and support and if I have the means, I'll help!
Ok, back to me...... still don't know where to start - feels like I'm trying to auction myself off to the highest bidder! Maybe if I tried point form it would be easier:
- I'm kind and trusting, but I'm not stupid; I'll call you on it!
- I take care of myself health wise and physically - but I'll indulge every now and again, and get giddy after 2 coolers!
- I try to convince my friends that I'm a "princess" but they don't buy into it! And to think, all that money wasted on princess training!! haha
- I'm not looking for someone to take care of me. In fact I'm pretty efficient in doing most anything - from operating a tractor to laying floor tile, to cooking a huge meal! This often intimidates a lot of men but I'm comfortable in a pair of overalls or a dress and heels!
- I love to laugh - it solves a lot of the problems we face each day - not condescending or joking, but a good old fashioned laugh shared with a friend.

I like me (not perfect and could definitely learn a whole lot more about life and love), so I guess I'm looking for someone like me - that has honesty and integritiy. Someone that is compassionate and can go to sleep at night and say that "I did my best today - I didn't hurt anyone, I made someone smile. If I screwed up, I hope I am given the chance to either apologize or to explain myself and then make it right!
