Well i have to say, I am a little out of my comfort zone writing about myself - I much prefer actual conversations - pretty open and willing to share almost anything - and even more over time - all you have to do is ask. There are times when I am a little hesitant to try new things and other times when they sound like fun and I go right for it, depending on what it is and the environment that surrounds it. With that, I am looking for someone who is a little more extroverted and a little more eager to take on challenges or new things and take me with them. Sometimes I just need a little nudge, ok, well honestly, sometimes a big nudge (i still do not see bungee jumping in my future - and yet sky diving is on my bucket list) lol. With that, i will have to say that i am not the best at making the first move (something i need to work on I guess, especially for this).
I consider myself a little more introverted than extroverted, but many of my friends see me the other way around. I can be very strong minded and say what I mean, and fairly confident in myself and my instincts. I am a very good listener and quite open minded. I believe in honesty and mutual respect in a relationship.
I have really just started traveling a "little" more in the last 5-10 years. I would love to do a lot more in the future and would love to have someone to go with me that enjoys warm/hot locations and the ocean. Fell in love with scuba diving and snorkeling from the first time i went - and definitely want to do a lot more. I enjoy most sports, rowing is one of my favorites, and really want to get back into it and on the water in the spring. Getting back into my fitness routine and healthier lifestyle, and would be great to have someone with similar goals / lifestyle - I still have a ways to go, but enjoying the benefits so far. :)
I enjoy spending time out with friends, movies or just relaxing at home - depends on the mood i guess, as well as the company i am with. To be honest though, time outside for me in the summer is way better than the winter - prefer heat to cold lol :)
Family and close friends are very important to me, and family has always come first for me and I hope to find someone with similar values. I would love to find someone who is outgoing, fun and can make me laugh; however you will also have a strong enough character and personality to be honest, sincere, respectful , down to earth, and able to take the lead and be able to call my shots if needed :) There isn't just one character that i can say i am looking for, just a bunch of things to make up the whole - but communication is vital - having someone you can talk to, no matter what, and that they are there for you, and will let me be there for them is really important to me.

I’d like to say that I am a positive person, considerate, trustworthy and easy to talk to. I love my circle of friends and my family, they’re my life – I have maintained friendships from as far back as high school, and still enjoy organizing / hosting the occasional get together.
Some random facts... I consider myself to be somewhat shy, especially meeting someone new, but who isn’t! I still like Billy Idol - he kissed my hand in 2001 and I still get excited just thinking about it! lol I absolutely love the “guy walks into a bar” jokes and Far Side! I have one little tattoo and would like ONE more - tasteful, but fun :) Some fav movies are Wedding Singer, The Ugly Truth, and don't laugh k - Hot Tub Time Machine lol (I loved the 80's!). Usually go for a comedy, although I like pretty much anything. When I need a good laugh, I watch Family Guy and I love Big Bang Theory lol. I tend to talk fast, especially if I’m nervous. I love to sing – but ONLY in my car, and unlike most women I know, I’d pick Adam over Johnny or Brad any day! (This statement confuses some; that’d be Sandler, Depp & Pitt!) :P
I’m definitely wanting that 'long-term' relationship – getting tired of games (does anyone NOT say that?!). Obviously we all have a past - especially at this point in our lives, of course there's history; I'm just hoping to meet someone that has been able to deal with it and has moved on. I just tried skiing for the first time ever this past winter, I wish I had've tried earlier in life as I'm no pro but can say I actually did it.
