Playing outside is important to me, and one of my favorite things to do is explore the hiking and biking trails in the area. I like to get out of my comfort zone, too, and have learned that, most of the time anyway, it ends up being an amazing experience that I otherwise would have missed. That's why I'm on this site - it's a bit out of my comfort zone, but it could turn out to be an great experience!
Going for a coffee, reading, taking in community events, watching a good movie...things like that are important to me, too - A balanced life is a good life! I like road trips - it's tough to beat heading out with the sun coming up, a coffee in hand, and some good company. My friends have told me I am confident, sincere, fun-loving, and one who wears his heart on his sleeve.
My career is important to me, but so is a good work-life balance. My passion is sustainability, and it has been a driving force in my personal and professional life. Little wonder I gravitated to the Kootenay area...and stayed!
