If my friends were to describe my personality, I think they would say I am: optimistic, easy going, fun-loving, dedicated, adventurous, enthusiastic and self confident. I am grateful for my good health, a wonderful family and many friends.
I am most proud of my career in teaching. Recently (Feb.) I took early retirement from teaching Drama and English. The opportunity to teach so many wonderful young adults was a great privilege. I enjoy being creative. I act in the community and look to direct, now that I have more time. I am also taking Spanish classes and trying to find dance classes in Salsa. I will also be looking to do some volunteer work in the community, and perhaps in other countries eventually.
Traveling is a passion of mine, allowing me the chance to learn new cultures and sometimes do volunteer work in other countries. The right man for me would be confident, honest, loyal, passionate, kind, have a good sense of humour, be a good communicator, be curious about life and all it offers, fun loving, enjoy reading, music, dancing, traveling, good conversation, life and understands that we all play a role in taking care of this planet earth.
Although I feel I am in a very good place in my life, I am wondering if there could be more and am open to the possibilities.

I laugh easily, love tenderly, kiss slowly, forgive quickly and take commitments seriously.
I enjoy all kinds of music (except probably rap), reading and writing – spending time in the rugged outdoors, as I am an all season enthusiast, sitting curled up in front of the fire, art and galleries, car shows and hot rods, novels, movies, live theatre, biking, hiking, skating, skiing, gardening, love the water, the mountains and the woods, animals- definitely a sucker for fluffy kittens and big eyed puppies, children and giving back. I consider life to be a spiritual journey and look forward to journeying together.
I imagine us working, building, loving, cooking, travelling, crying, laughing, dancing, trusting and believing…together. Becoming one….together. For me that journey begins with friendship that hopefully blossoms into more.
