I've played hockey at competitive levels throughout my life and have sharpened my competitiveness and my drive as much as I have my blades. I've come to love mixed martial arts and have near-future plans to study the art.
I think education and the desire to always want to learn is so important and should never be overlooked. The Webster Dictionary and Google Apps on my iPhone get a great workout everyday (So much easier carrying my iPhone in my pocket than it is my dictionary..haha). With that being said, I certainly do not consider myself to be brilliant by any means and do not think you need to be either. It's the effort that I do expect!!
I love studying ASL Sign Language. Nine months ago, the only sign I knew was how to flip the bird. Now, I could probably sign most of what is written in my profile. Really cool!
