-I love writing, and plan to write a novel at some point in my life, but I am waiting to gain more experience at it, so I don't end up with some sort of Danielle Steele garbage.
-There is nothing more refreshing than a cold beer after a long day. But I no longer enjoy drinking to excess - the hangovers just aren't worth it. Although special occasions may be the exception.
-I love to laugh more than anything. I love talking to people who can make a joke about anything - running sarcasm is great!
-I don't like horror movies, I cry and turn them off as soon as I get scared!
-I love all types of food, and will try anything. Life is too short to shy away from new things!
-I will do whatever is necessary to rid myself of my fears. I am afraid of heights, and have been bungee jumping to try to get over it. It didn't work, so I may need to try again. But I don't like the idea of being held back by fear.
-I don't like when a situation becomes too emotional. Please leave all drama at the door.
-I can hold my own in a conversation, and will find interest in anything a person wishes to share with me, but they need to be able to hold their own as well. I can't carry a conversation by myself.

I am awkwardly hilarious - some people get it, some don't. Sometimes I just like to sit around and do absolutely nothing. Cats are a fine subsitute for children, in my opinion. I hate seeing what internet slang has done to the English language ('Are' and 'you' should not be replaced with 'r' and 'u'; their, they're and there are three different words - learn how to use them all!). I think it's funny when people get hit with things or fall down, myself included. Generally, people take themselves too seriously. I strongly dislike ignorance, as well as arrogance. As a pedestrian, I find it polite to jaunt across the street and give a wave when a car stops for me. I smile at pretty much everyone and hold doors open for strangers. No one likes a show-off, or a one-upper. Let's be honest: physcial attraction happens before emotional attraction. Cockiness should not be misconstrued as confidence. No one is perfect..... until you fall in love with them.

. I was fortunate enough to be able to take four months off work twice in the past year to get a bit of the travel bug out of my system. I just got back from a summer in Europe, which was absolutely fantastic. Also had a chance to visit grandparents in Russia, which is always a treat.
Before that, I took four months off in the fall. For the first two I went to Peru to volunteer, explore the latin american culture, and pick up some surfing tips from the locals. Amazing! The other two I spent back-packing and scuba-diving in Thailand. I am now obsessed with coconut curries :)
As you might have guessed, I love travelling and exploring, learning and adventuring.

I live close to the seawall and take any opportunity I can get to get out there - walk, bike, rollerblade or just picnic on the grass with friends. I like to eat healthy, but make sure to save room for dessert almost every time.
