I am very family and career oriented. I have two great kids and enjoy spending time with them, watching them grow, establish their careers, and pursue their passions and interests. I consider myself a very devoted father, and am proud of the time I spend with my kids and the joy they bring to my life.
I have been on my own long enough to know when someone special comes along. My family and my career are where my time is spent, but missing is that special person who wants to share their time with mine, and enjoy all that it can bring....
I enjoy the company of my good friends, a great conversation, working around my house, and helping others with any kind of renovation projects, volunteer work, and assisting those less fortunate than myself in life.
I do enjoy a wide variety of music, from contemporary rock, jazz, country and the blues, with a developing fondness for the "new stuff", finding it tolerable when listening to it with my kids.
Going downtown to watch a live show, experience life in the "city" and taking in sports events are also pretty high on my list. Road trips for the sake of driving and seeing new places, long walks , biking, cooking, entertaining, golfing, and just "hanging around the house", are activities I find very enjoying.
I consider myself, and have been characterized as very value oriented, honest, thoughtful, sincere, loyal and with a core value of integrity as well. I do wear my heart on my sleeve, and am not afraid to tell it like it is, or hear the same. Honesty is something that is to be expected and deserved. I truly enjoy helping others and making them feel wanted,valued,appreciated, and expect the same in return.
I lead a fairly simple life and have reached the stage where I can begin enjoying the success of my career and the enjoyment it can bring....
I do enjoy to travel, but haven't had the luxury of doing a lot over the years due to family commitments. While it is something that I hope to do in time, it is not on the top of my priority list..... just being honest here....

1. I'm to short to ride most of these rides I wish I was 5'10" but it wasn't in the genes. so I'm off to Wonderland were I know I meet the requirements
2. Spelling is a must which I'm not good at it but do know how to use spell check
3. Must have a kind heart, at 51 I'm just glad mines still beating! not that I'm in bad shape and feel great but how do you express a kind heart in words
4. Make a date / meeting what's the worse that can happen you don't like each other. Life is short live in the monement meet new people it will only make you better.

I'm and outgoing individual who likes to enjoy each day. My friends would describe me as the kind of friend you would want to have, who would be there when they need you most. I have a good sense of humor quick wit and lean to the sarcastic side with most of it directed at me.
I lead an active lifestyle and enjoy the outdoors and I’m always willing to give new things a shot. I work out on a regular basis and enjoy a healthy lifestyle but not married to the gym.
My kids are grown up and I now have time do try and do new things. I love to entertain and cook (all though my son is the chef in the family) and there is nothing better than a Good party.
My job is great but it does keep me on the road a lot. The upside is that it affords me the opportunity to travel across Canada as well as the US ending up in some great locations and I’m looking for someone to share that with. I also look forward to heading south at least once each winter.
