The film in my camera of life was never expected to be living in my home, all alone at 50. I've worked my life continuously since I was 16 building things up and having them knocked down, just to rebuild again. I'm not a whoa is me kind of person, I just put my head down and plod on again. It's built my character to where I am and what I do. I've become more cynical in my old age but still donate where I can, help when necessary and donate every 56 days give or take to the the blood bank. Life is precious and I want to experience it to make up what I've missed since my youthful working career. This may be getting a bit deep, so I'll have to expand with a potential partner and not on a dating website.
I'm passionate, articulate and loyal to what I believe and who I believe in. I don't suffer fools lightly and I dedicate myself to who I am with. My entire life I have always migrated toward brunette's. Most recently, redheads and strawberry blondes have made me have to do a double take. So I think I want to be selective and not just settle like I have for many years.

I have been 50 yrs in the making and still try to learn something new everyday.I have helped out in the raising of my 6 children and now they are on there own and raising families of their own. I always kinda hoped that i could be retired by the time i hit this age.....but then things dont always workout the way we want,and then again it maybe just the way things were supposed to work,i dont really feel any older than i did yesterday or when i was 40..well a little but not much and definitely a little wiser. I like the quietness of the morning with my coffee and crossword. i like to be outdoors and so does my dog and cat whom i should have named nout because he's always wanting inandout and he seems just when im in the middle of something to want in or out. I have been a Vancouver Canuck fan since forever and rarely miss watching a game although i have never been to a live game and being my own boss this gives me the chance not to miss a game.I enjoy all types of music tho some a lot less and enjoy going to a concert or comedy nite i dont mind the pub but am not really into the bar scene id rather throw darts than dance but have been known to shake a leg every once in a while. i enjoy laughing with my friends and am a little shy when meeting new people i believe in honesty and monogamy, to live laugh and love i think helps keep one young.

I have raised 2 of my boy’s to adults, and working on the 3rd one. I am proud of all that they have accomplished so far, and have a close relationship with all of them. I have worked at the same job for over 30 years and I have also at times, when need be taking on other part time job’s (one being my own business) to support my family. I have strong moral character and try to treat all people I meet with respect, and expect the same in return. I believe that you earn trust by our actions not words. I am reliable ask any of my friends, I am usually the first one they call if they need help. (and the fact that I have a big ass truck) lol..
