Here’s me in a nutshell.....I’m a 48 year young man with a full head of salt n’ pepper hair, I’m a decent looking fella, my friends and family would say that I’m good looking but they’re supposed to, I’m of average build with a little Buddha in me and at my age I think that’s a right of passage, I stay active but don’t work out. I’ve been told that I am painfully honest, sarcastic yet charming with a a good sense of humour, I’ve got the gift for gab (it’s the Gemini in me) and I’m the type of guy that knows a little about a lot but a lot about nothing, I'm naturally inquisitive and have been known not to have my filter in check when needed and have asked what some would consider an inappropriate question (I've gotten in trouble over that few times, oops), I’ve been told that I have to always be right but then I haven’t found anybody to disprove that theory, I enjoy meaty conversations and also conversations about nothing in particular, I’m a headline junky (it keeps me up to date with how stupid humanity is), the future of this planet scares the sh*t out of me, when it comes to religion I’m a my karma ran over your dogma kind of guy, music moves me, I play one of my guitars everyday, as for music I like mainly pop/rock top 40, I generally listen to music that I want to play, in the last 26 years I have found my self in two long term relationships, one lasted 12 years that I ended and the other lasted 10 years and it was ended for me and I have been single for the last 4 years, I like to think that I am a nice guy and have references to confirm that, in fact I have had a couple of women that I dated in the past 4 years that put an end to seeing me because they claimed that I was too nice, lol, they didn’t stick around long enough to see my naughty side (it’s the Brit and Gemini in me), btw, I have never met anyone that has fulfilled my naughty side (sigh), I play golf (I would love to find someone that golfs) and I’m a really good dart player (again it’s the Brit in me), I enjoy everything that encompasses being a couple, I love the power of touch (much to the shu’grin of my work mates, I work in a male dominated field and I won’t hesitate to give them a manly hug if needed), I love my job and the the people that I work with and for and have been there for the last 22 years......well that should do it for the time being, there’s probably a lot here to digest, lol!
My on line dating pet peeves....
People that don’t look like their pictures (I could write a book in this)
Poor quality pictures (I could write two books on this)
Non responsive emails (It’s ok to just say “thanks for the note but I’m going to have to pass”, I’ve done it a million times)
Unread/deleted emails (That’s just ignorant)
People that will not share a picture (Pretty much every species on the planet picks a mate using some sort of visual stimulus and we’re no different)
